Review: CCHS Homecoming!

Nicole wants Jesse to take her to the homecoming dance, but is heartbroken when she finds out the hard way that he is taking the stuck-up cheerleading captain, Vanessa Winters. Jesse takes Nicole out for pizza after a while and the two agree to just be friends.

Melanie asks Peter to the homecoming dance after she catches him in a rather surprising liplock. Peter agrees to go with her and angers Jenna when she finds out. Peter and Jenna are together after Junior Explorers is over for one day and are picking up things. The two share a moment and Peter confesses he's been in love with her.

Ben tries to fit in. He gets contact lenses and leather clothes and takes his dad's computer game, messing up BIG TIME on it.

Miguel and Leah go to homecoming together, but Miguel discovers that Leah spied on him and breaks up with her, only to find out that his mother can now get a kidney transplant.

Summary: fist time read it i was hooked
Review: I am A freshman in High school and I find that in this book they express alot of the things that I go though in everyday life. All the characters in the book are so unique that you can relate to one of them....don't get me wrong the teenagers in this book are not perfect! I think that that is why I enjoyed the book. It's not a fairy tale book. It's actually one of the most realistic books I've ever read. The characters turn into your everyday friends. The football games, the meetings, the friendships, the relationships...They are all part of high school. I'm sure you'll really enjoy this book. You can certainly learn alot from the characters by their mistakes or by their good judgement and the out comes.

Summary: As a newcomer to the series I am very pleased!
Review: I was looking through the racks at the book store just trying to find something interesting when I picked up Just Friends. I remembered reading in a magazine that Clearwater Crossing was a good series so I thought I'd try it out. Unfortunatly, the store didn't have any of the first 4 so I began with #5. I was completely surprised and blown away! I didn't like the book, I loved the book. I've never read anything that comes this close to real life. The situations are highly believable, and are very down to earth. I love how the author can introduce so many emotions, feelings, and characters into one book yet still was able to keep it in a calm, real-life setting. The only thing I was a little saddened by was the lack of Christian faith she wrote into them. The book after all is adveritsed as a teen Christian series. She did have the characters help out with church and sport Christian examples, but I was disappointed that they were not overly eager to share their faith with non-Christians. However, overall I thought this was an excellent book. I would recommend it to many friends. Somehow I get this feeling that I'll be hooked on the series for awhile. If you're ever in a book store wandering around looking for something good to read, I urge you to pick up Clearwater Crossing. I couldn't put it down, and I don't think you'll be able to either!

Summary: A touching memento
Review: The reason I love clearwater crossing books is that they are so much like reality. This book was sad because I just broke up with my boyfriend and then in the book Ben gets refused for a date so just all of it is sad. Maybe it's me being in an emotional state, but I think anyone having just broke up should read this book. Either to get mad or softened, (it depends on whom broke up with whom) I also know you should listen to soft slow music like jazz or maybe even classical. One think you shouldn't listen to is rock or R&B because it'll make your heart beat faster and then you will want to finish the book. Don't rush through Just Friends, take your time to let the words and thoughts linger and be able to really understand what they mean. Maybe you are thinking right now "why should I listen to this wacko" Please don't think of me that way, I'm really a nice person and please take my advice. Cheers to CCHS!

Summary: CLEARWATER CROSSING BOOKS ARE THE BEST!
Review: The teens in this book live by Christian values but even if you are not a Christian like myself I think you should read this book. The plot is intense.Think a Christian version of the romance between Dawson andJoey on"Dawson's Creek".That is exactly what this is!!
