Rating: Summary: Wonderful fantasy ! Review: A chance encounter on an airplane with a brilliant young man (he turned out to be Matthew G. McMillan) sparked my interest in this book, but still didn't prepare me fully for what I found in "The Dreamer." The gentle honesty and unexpected intrigue of Molly's adventures in the Realms made this book difficult to put down; I was captivated from the very first page. I wish I had read this work as a young child, as the fanciful characters - nymphs, miniature horses, and a quietly brave Centaur, among many others - would have become instant favorites and friends. McMillan's enthusiasm is genuine and totally refreshing. Whatever age you are, this beautiful and carefully-woven story has my strongest recommendation. Suddenly, every "Littletown," near or far, will seem curiously more enchanting. * Note - Look at the cover from a different angle! I was a little slow picking that up! (actually, look at the whole book from different angles...)
Rating: Summary: A brand new world Review: A good book for both new and long time readers of fantasy books. McMillan creates a brand new fantasy world that has a great deal of potential. I am looking forward to future books in the series so he can develop his world more fully. The central story moves quickly and constantly has the reader wondering who or what the characters are going to meet next. The choice of a female heroine lends a new and different take to the normal fantasy novel.
Rating: Summary: A wonderful story. Review: Fun and energetic, this book is well writen and original. Quick paced and easy to read for the young adult reader with depth enough for the young at heart, older reader as well. I stayed up well into the wee hours finishing! The story is provocative, the heroine wonderful and very real and her mythical companions exciting. An unexpected twist around every corner keeps the story engrossing and interesting. The surprising ending will leave the reader aching for the rest of the story! I'll certainly be reading this one again while eagerly awaiting the next book. Matthew G. McMillan is a truly inspired story teller!
Rating: Summary: In the beginning... Review: Matthew G. McMillan has written a superb fantasy story that asks you to suspend your disbelief in the impossible and allow the infinite range of possibilities to sweep you away in a tale of excitement, love, courage, and redemption. I cannot wait for the second and third books to arrive!!
Rating: Summary: A "Page Turner" if I have ever seen one! Review: Matthew McMillan is a truly gifted young writer. In The Dreamer, he creates a fantastical world, filled with amazing imagery at every turn. Placed in this truly wonderful setting is a plot that leaves nothing to be desired. Adventure, emotion, and wonderful dialogue abound, as well as thought-provoking ideas about life and reality. A must-have for any fantasy lover, and good for those young, old, and everywhere in between!

Rating: Summary: The Dreamer....Fantastic new book Review: We were lucky enough to read the manuscript of The Dreamer, and we both think it will be an excellent and interesting book for all ages. It's original content and characters are both fun and thought provoking. We hope that the readers enjoy this book as much as we did.
Rating: Summary: "The Ghosts of Littletown": The Dreamer Book 1 Review: With a writing style that I can only compare to the great Lloyd Alexander (Of "The Prydain Chronicles" fame: ... Matthew G. McMillan takes us into a world where fantasy is real and our heroine has only her wits and her friends to survive. I truly enjoyed this book, and can't wait for the next installment. I guarantee that my daughter will enjoy it as much as I did.
