Summary: Fun!
Review: I haven't been a big fan of THE A-LIST series, mostly due to its slow-moving plot and flavorless characters. I don't exactly hate it either. The second one barely made me split a yawn, and I was ready for more from Zoey Dean. But BLONDE AMBITION, I'm sorry to say, didn't live up to my expectations. For readers who haven't read it, in this frothy third, Anna becomes a total slut. She drops Ben like a hot potato for the many 'possibilities' (and right after he took up 2 novels worth of time) out there, and Cammie begins fighting for her father's attention with her STEPSISTER, not Anna, as the back prominently reads. I have to say, I am disappointed in this, and even MORE disappointed in Dean. Before writing this, I read up on her secret past, and it turns out she's just the moniker for some sad, misread teen in Pocatello, Idaho, who's been to L.A a total time of ONCE. And since the bigwigs at Little, Browne couldn't force her to write a fourth, they hired hapless hopeful Cherie Benette to write the next novel, TALL COOL ONE, which debuts next year. Summary: Not as good as the previous two...
Review: I originally picked up the A-List while waiting for the next Gossip Girl. At first I was intrigued. Anna seemed pretty cool.
But the fact is, Anna Percy is no Blair Waldorf. None of her friends can compare to Serena. And while Ben appeared to be a great (and intriguing) guy, he makes a shockingly possessive appearance in this book.
I was disapointed with that. I knew it wouldn't work with Anna and Ben, but to see him acting so possesively was disapointing.
The first two books just had a little more... well something. Maybe its just because I've been reading a lot of GG like books lately, but this one just didn't do it for me.

Summary: Can't Wait For The Fourth Installment
Review: I read this book within three days and it's a good book to buy. The first two of course were great but this one was better. Anne Percy is becoming the hottie of Cali and seems as though some might try to knock that away from her.

Summary: GREAT READ, THE BEST OF CHICKLIT
Review: I really like reading chicklit and this series is easily the best of its kind. Zoey Dean (but who is she really???) is smart, funny and literate. I keep wondering which one of these girls is based on her as a teen! My mom and all my friends are now reading this series too. It's better than The OC or One Tree Hill because the characters have so much more depth, the dialogue is wittier and also rings more true. Anna is an interesting girl, rich but not an ass. The Beverly Hills girls spend all their time navel gazing, but their self-obsession is funny. Cammie is hilarious and I know girls just like her. Really I think this series is for girls and women of any age, that's how good it is. Loved the stuff about TV series and I wonder if Zoey Dean is really someone who writes for some TV show and is using a different name! That would explain how she knows so much inside dirt. This is such a kewl and great book, the whole series is the best ever. Gotta read it.

Summary: A GUY WHO THINKS THIS IS A HOT, COOL BOOK
Review: I'm a guy and my girlfriend couldn't get her nose out of this book so as a joke I started to read it. And it's really good. Seriously, I learned more about girls from this book than from any girl I ever talked to. It's like getting the inside scoop. Plus it's hilariously funny. The snarky girls are such bee-yutches ya gotta laugh. But I know girls just like this chick Cammie who are so hot that no matter what they do, guys pant after them anyway. The main character Anna is very well written and reminds me of my gf (no I'm not just saying that because she's reading over my shoulder). All in all, a fun, cool book, easy read, and Zoey Dean has a wicked sense of humor.

Summary: BETTER THAN TRAVELING PANTS BY FAR!!!
Review: Last year, everyone I new was all woo-woo over Sisterhood of the Travling Pants. I read it and it was cute but really didn't have a lot of depth or humor. This series is so much better than that! First of all, the book if a total page turner and you can't stop reading it. It's romantic and funny and the dialogue is like Zoey Dean was listening in on actual teen conversations, or maybe she is a teen??? This should totally be a movie, everyone I know would see it. Or else it should be a TV series on WB. Anna is a terrific heroine because even though she is rich she is not a snot about it. She has family problems like a sister in rehab and parents who ignore her. She works as an intern on a TV show in this bk which is so funny and cool and you get to learn all about what it's like on a TV show. Also the romance is cool because it takes a very unexpected turn and I appreciate that it was uppredicatble. I can't wait until book 4!!!!!!

Review: Okay, I admit I am already addicted to The A List from reading the first two books and I couldn't wait to get this one. The book took a surprising turn in the romance of Anna and Ben. At first I didn't like that but by the end of the book I just wanted to read more about what will happen with them. Like before everything was just too perfect with them. My favorite character is Cammie because she reminds me of this girl at my school who is also rich and beautiful and totally mean, only Cammie does it much better! The way Zoey Dean writes makes you feel like you are right there living inside the book. I wish I was Anna! Zoey Dean is now my favorite writer because she really knows how teens think and feel, even teens like me who aren't so rich. Also what makes this series different and better than some others is that you can really like Anna, plus the dialogue sounds like what kids actually say. Read this book you won't be sorry!!!!!

Summary: GOOD AND BAD AT THE SAME TIME
Review: This is the story of a highschool over-achiver. Scratch that, a "popular" Highscool overaciver. This books revolves around the main character who's name is Anna Percy. Shes gorgeous, smart and is a full fledged boy magnet. She attracts boys like bright lights attract flys. She even got one of the most sought after boys in all of beverly hills to fall madly in love with her. And thats were the A-list story basically begins.

Anna and Ben have been going out for a little while, and His jealoud ex-girlfriend Cammie is doing everything in her power to win him back, but one of Cammies best friends is claiming that she is pregnant with Bens baby. Her other best friend is having difficulty deciding whether she is in love with Ben or with ANNA! (weird twist!)

When Anna lands an internship working on the set of the newest and hotest teen show "Hermosa Beach," She is totally pleased. But when she finds out that her boss will be Cammies father, her confidence shatters.

Cammie on the other hand, thinks this is a gift from god. She feels that this is the time to get rid of Anna Percy once and for all!
