Summary: The Wind Blows BackwardN
Review: I'm sure everyone who is reading this review is wondering why on earth i would only give it four stars. it's beautifully written, with characters you could think of as friends and experiences that remain in the back of your mind forever. so the reason i have only chosen four is that i'm not sure about the actual satisfaction i received after completing the novel. you could cry, i suppose, if you enjoy being emotionally sentimental over the situations that lauren and spencer have walked through...but on the whole, i just felt - bad - inside. my best friend accuses me of taking the book too seriously, but its hard not to picture the pain that is flowing through spencer. pain, so much pain. and so i give four stars to ward off anyone who appreciates life as a safe, happy event. i wouldnt want to taint their outlook with the troubled thoughts of an imaginary teen.

Summary: Super book
Review: I first read this book a couple summers ago, and I've loved it ever since. I'd reccommend it to just about anyone, because there's a lot of different aspects to the book. On one level, it's a romance, but it's a lot deeper than that...it deals with life and death and being a teen. I actually learned a little bit about poetry while reading it, but I really loved it because I felt like I could crawl into the story. The characters were very real to me, sometimes I could see myself in their eyes.

Summary: My All-Time Favorite Book!
Review: Mary Downing Hahn was my favorite author for forever, but then I grew out of her work. I am 16 and have read "The Wind Blows Backward" like 7 times and each time, I read it in less than 3 hours. I recommend this to ANYONE. I even had my mother read it. She loved it too. It shows you what teenagers are like and what they really do go through in life. It's a touching love story that I could read every day. Enjoy it!

Summary: I would reccomend this book to anyone, I loved it!
Review: I thought this book was great! It really made you think. I got caught up in the story, and couldn't put the book down! I don't think it was just another teenage romance story, it touched topics a lot deeper than that. It's one of my favorite books.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The best love novel ever!!!!!
Review: It's wonderful how Downing Hahn was able to capture everyday teen emotions of love, and fear into a book. She portrays the characters in such a way that you would actually want to meet them. It's a fantastic story and I wish there was a movie for it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The Best Book I Have Ever Read!!!!!!!
Review: The Wind Blows Backward is by far the best book I have ever read. The plot of this story not only draws you into it, but it also makes the reader create sympathy for the bookish Lauren and the moody Spencer. I recommend this book for all teens.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I was stunned!!!
Review: I absolutely LOVED this book!!! I don't own it but hope to, it is the best book I have ever read! I really like how Mary Downing Hahn doesn't tell you what the matter with Spencer is until near the end. I also hope there is a sequel, it was terrific!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The best teen romamce ever
Review: I really loved this book. I didn't want to put it down. The conflicts relate to teens a lot. Being a teen, I related to Lauren and Spencer because I have been in a lot of thier situations myself. I recommend this book to every girl who loves teen romances.
