Summary: The School Story
Review: Natalie has written a great story. Natalie makes the mistake of showing her best friend Zoe her book. Zoe thinks her book should be published by Nataie's mom who is an editor at a big publishing house in New York. Cassandra Day (a.k.a.)Natalie and Ze Ze Reisman (a.k.a.) Zoe, with the help of Zoe's dad, a lawyer, and their english teacher, Ms. Clayton might just get her book published. This book has a lot action. Everyone should read this book.

Summary: Will Natalie's Mom Find Out -- a review by Kuran, age 9
Review: Natalie starts to write a book, "The Cheater." Zoe loves the book, and thinks that she can get the book published. The only problem is that Natalie's mom is the only publisher they know. So Zoe thinks up a big plan, and decides to be Natalie's agent, Sherry Clutch. Natalie and their teacher, Ms. Clayton, join in. Natalie decides to have her pen name be Cassandra Day. Will they slip past Natalie's mom, or will she find out?

"School Story" was a great book, almost the best book I've ever read. It has a great plot (I think), and it shows how the girls think and feel. It shows lots of excitement and creativity. The characters have totally different personalities, which makes the book fun. And it is also pretty funny. This is the kind of book that does not need a sequel because the ending finishes perfectly, and locks everything up. It is the kind of book that does not suit some people, because there's not tons of action and fighting, but some people can't stop reading it because they just have to know what happens next. I think most of Andrew Clements books are pretty good, but this is his best book yet.

Summary: The School Story
Review: Overall, this book was pretty good! You can keep up with what was happening to the characters, and it was easy to read. It was so entertaining, that I couldn't put it down! There are only a couple parts that could have been better. For example, two twelve-year-old girls publishing a book in New York, and no one rejecting it, seems a little unrealistic. A couple of the chapters were too long because of unnecessary information. Also, it was predictable, so you already knew the ending before the end of the book. This book was interesting because you got a "behind the scenes" look at the publishing industry. I recommend this book to someone who wants a good novel to read!

Summary: A story about making dreams come true
Review: The School Story by Andrew Clements is a great book. It really says how much kids can do if they try!

Natalie writes a book and her friend Zoe cant bare to see it go to waste. So, they try to get it published. Natalie and Zoe deal with everything from friendship matters to legal matters. In the end, it really pays off!

This book is encouraging to young writers. It is filled with funny and emotional parts. It also has a universal theme. Everyone can enjoy it!

Summary: A Great Book
Review: The School Story is about a 12 year old girl, Natile Nelson who was writing a book called The Cheater. She could get it published very easly, but her mom was an editor. So Natile came up with a writers name, Cassandra Day. Her mom read the book. She loved it, that was all she could talk about. Andrew Clements, the author gave me amazing details about how Natile got through it. I'm not going to tell you the ending. You need to read the school story, a great book.

Summary: Best book I have EVER read!
Review: This book is about a 12 year old girl who is practily a guiness. Zoe, her best friend thinks she should get her novel published. It sounds silly that a 12 year old girl could get her book published, but Andrew Clements makes it sound so real. Thats how all his books are. I recomend this book to all kids that can read a chapter book, in the ages between 8 and 15. I love this book and if you get it, you will too!
