Summary: A disappointment

That is what I expected when I started this book. There was adventure and romance, I'll admit. Peyton kept me reading, as I wanted to know the outcome of the novel.

However, that was the only thing that kept me going. The characters were rather flat and convienient. Ben, for example, showed up when a big brother character was needed, but disappeared when he wasn't.

Another difficulty I have with the book is Part One is told from Charlotte's (the main character) point of view, and Part Two is from a character outside of the group. This device can be engaging, and can cause the reader to consider multiple points of view. In Snowfall, however, it falls flat and is not satisfactory.

Summary: Well written
Review: A friend of mine read this book, and recommended it to me. I didn't want to read it at first, but she kept persisting, and after a while, I did. I was captivated by it, and I fell in love with it immediately. I was not prepared, however, for the ending. It almost ruined the book, and I honestly think it should not have ended that way. Of course, I am not a fan of sad endings, so some would call me a poor sport. Every time I hear about accidents with snow, a single name crosses my mind: Milo. He was my favorite character, and the way the book is finished is enough to make the strongest person cry out of sheer and utter torture. I am not one to cry much, but the way this ended, just squeezed the tears directly from my eyes.

If you have ever seen the movie "Cruel Intentions", the way this ends is, in a sense, just like the movie. She just learns that she actually DOES love him, but something happens to him, and they cannot end up together. Personally, I think K.M. Peyton should re-write the ending, so they'll end up together. And I'm sure you'll agree with me!!!!

Review: After reading the first page of this book I predicted that the rest would be dull and boring, but after I finished the first chapter I was totally hooked. I loved the characters, especially Milo. I wanted Charolette to be with him so badly, when I finished the ending I was so heartbroken, I wanted to cry but the tears would not come. I was very depressed the next couple days, but I still don't regret reading Snowfall. It was wonderfuly written, a must read for those interested in the victorian era, and YA romances.

Review: Ahhh..snowfall. I love this book! It's about a 16 year old girl named Charlotte. Her grandfather wanted to marry her to a bland man named "Mr.Carstairs". Charlotte did not love him, and she wanted to marry for love. Her brother visits her and tells her
he is going to take a vaction in Switzerland. Charlotte convinces
him to let her come, and they spin a lie to get permission thier grandfather. Thats all im saying bout that! For those who have already read, the part where charlotte rejects Mar tore me to pieces, I burst into tears. I was sure the Milo and Charlotte would be a couple(Unhappy too), but the end of the book warmed my heart. Read it!!!!

Review: During part one in this book i was completeley captured!It seemed to be all i ever thought about and i kept wanting to read more, however not wanting it to end. When i finaly got to part 2 and read the ending i was crushed! This is the type of book where u completley love it, and then read the ending and it ruins the book for you. However i would reccomend Blind Beuaty, an wonderful novel also by K.M peyton.

Summary: A wonderful Book!
Review: I first read this book when I was in 6th grade, I have subsequently read it eight times! It is one of the most wonderful books I have ever read. At the end of Snowfall I have cried every time, now even that I am older I still burst into tears when Clara sings the love song. Also E.M Forster's A Room With A View is a beautiful book (as is the movie!). I have a soft spot for victorian era books and of all I have read this is definetly one of my favorits. If reading it for the first time pause for two min. between the first and second parts and reflect.

Review: I found this book at the library. I absolutely love it. It kinda got to me the first time I read it. I found myself referring to the book all the time. It seemed to be the only thing on my mind. Even though it drived me super crazy. I LOVE IT!! I've read it about 7 times and I never get bored. Everytime I read the first page, a sadness kinda washes over me. I love this book so much because of it's exquisite plot and story, it is one of the best books I've read.

Summary: A Romantic Victorian Novel for Young Adults
Review: I really liked this book, I know it wasn't the most realistic book. Sometimes I just wanted to YELL at the characters! But it was a very fast and interesting read. I LOVED IT. I read it twice. If you like YA romance you will love it too. Its hard to talk a whole lot about it without giving the plot away, but if you like romance, try this book. Another good book--The Raging Quiet.
