Summary: Alice In-Between
Review: Alice in between is a great book, it is basicly about Alice who has waited all her life to be 13. Now that she is not a kid anymore, she often talks with her girlfriends about their bodies and the boys at school. On the train trip to Chicago with her friends, Pamela is harrased by a older man . During this delightful time Alice becomes in touch with her ex-boyfriend Patrick again and they celebrate his 13th birthday. Her summer of the seventh grade will be an amazing time that Alice and you as a reader will never forget this cool book.

Summary: It is about growing up....
Review: Alice in Between is a very good book. I liked it because I could relate to a lot of things that she and her friends went through. I liked how there were three different friends and you could definatly relate with either Alice, Pamela or Elizabeth. I think that it is a good book for girls that are twelve or over because it has the issues that teenagers go through. Over all it is a very good book and a great series.

Summary: So realistic!
Review: Alice in Between is my favorite book in the Alice series, of 12 books. It tells about Alice McKinley, who has just turned 13 at the end of seventh grade, and expects it to be wonderful. However, being a teenager and at an "in between" age is harder than she thinks, though she and her friends still have some great, often hilarious times together. A fancy date, taking the "pencil test", and going on a train trip to Chicago are a few of the things that happen. This is a book that all girls 11 and up can relate to, I'm sure! I've never read a book that is so true to life - Phyllis Naylor is amazing! If you liked this book, be sure to read the others in the series.

Summary: My opinion of this book is a very high one.
Review: Alice is in - between being a child and a woman or she thinks, as she is in seventh grade. Alice has blonde hair and looks a lot like her mother who died when Alice was just a baby. During this book her personality changes from all the events that have happened to her. This is a modern day book that is set most of he time in Alice's small home town and also takes place for a small fraction of the story to, from, and in Chicago where Alice and her two best friends go to visit her Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin. The plot of this story is all based on the fact that Alice is feeling in-between every thing and can't seem to find any thing that can speed up the stage of in-between. When the story begins and you first meet Alice she is just turning 13 and has just began to notice the in-betweeens. At the close of this book Alice has realized that the in-betweens can't be to bad because they can't be too much or too little, but they can be just right. My opinion of this book is a very high one. It's a perfect 10 and if the highest was 12 then it gets a 12! I think that one thing that really helped the book was the creative author that added a special some thing into it. I would recomend this book to girls that like the funny kind of books that are undecribable.

Summary: Alice is so hillarious!
Review: Alice McKinley is so hillarious! This is by far the best book in the Alice series. I read them in my spare time at school, and we will be sitting at our desks, and I'll just start cracking up, and everyone will be looking at me like, "What is she laughing about this time?" I definitely reccomend the entire Alice series to anyone. Even boys at my school are reading them! They are a hot commodity, therefore they are on demand at the library, and have even all been out several times. Bottom line: Buy the Alice Books and read them!

Summary: This is one of the best books in the whole world!
Review: All of the Alice books are terrific, but this one is my absolute favorite! For any girl about 11-15, Alice and her friends will remind you of yourself and your friends. She thinks about real things, she's not stupid, and besides that, shes often hysterical! Also, a lot of sexual stuff is explained when Alice will ask someone, which is often funny and a good way of getting information too. She also has a sweet boyfriend named Patrick, and there's some good romance in this book. Alice isn't a complete dork, but she's not really popular either. This is just one of the reasons she feels in-between. I would reccomend this book to anyone female. (I'm don't really think that guys will go for it.)And if you like this one, there are (at present) 10 other alice books, which are all extremely good too.

Summary: Alice the Best
Review: I feel for Alice. I know what she is going through. I go to some of the places she goes and I live 3 streets away from where she supossedly lives. I go to the junior high that she goes to. All the things Alice goes through are real including SGSD (seventh grade sing day reffered to in one of the later Alice books.) I think that Phyllis Reynolds Naylor is an excellant author. I also recomend for anyone in 7th grade or above that you read Year of the Gopher, also by Ms. Naylor.
