Summary: Mama, Let's Dance
Review: I have read this book a number of times, and it makes me cry every time. As the reader, you can only feel compassion for these deserted children. It is beautifully compiled and has become one of my favorites.

Summary: Wow, very creepy family book
Review: I was deeply surprised at how much emotion I had expressed after reading this book. A mother who runsaway one day, leaving a teenaged sister, uninterested in clothes and boys, to take care of her siblings, with the help of an old neighbor. The hardest part is pretending that your mother is still home, and all is well. Death and family problems are hidden in this book.

This book just shows why marriage should happen before kids, especially if your a teenager, you won't beable to live a life if you have so many kids, as this mother did, and was psychologically disterbed because of her early childbirths.

Summary: A very painful book to read
Review: Mama, Let's Dance is a wonderfully written book, but the topic is so serious and so painful that it would be hard for me to introduce this book to my students. Three children abanoned by both of their parents, one of whom is alive but doesn't care about them, struggle to survive and stay together. The children are faced with starvation and death. Is there any hope? Can children find nothing but despair and hopelessness after reading this book?

Summary: Mama, Let's Dance
Review: This book is about three kids: Ariel, Callie, and Mary Bell. About six weeks ago their mama left them them alone. She left them only 50.00 because that's all she could afford. Soon, Callie gets sick, really sick and is taken to the hospital. She doesn't make it and Mary Bell is so upset! I loved this book and I encourage you to read it!
