Rating: Summary: On-Line Romance! Review: ATTENTION ALL TEENS! This is a Wonderful book! It talks about a girl, Olivia who finds this guy (Ken) on the on-line, and she just knows that they are a perfect match! They keep sending these little notes to each other, and when they finally meet......I don't think I should give it away, like I said, TEENS, you've got to read this!
Rating: Summary: Read It! Read It! Read It! Read It! Review: Before you read what I am saying read the book, waste no precious time and buy it!!! It has the best charecters Olivia and Ken, and if your online 3 hours a week like me (or more, how can you find the time?). You will love it!!!It is about to people who aren't in the same 'clique' but are destined to hook up. Hook up online that is. They find each other and have little dates together on the web. But when the finally meet do they hit it off? If you read the book like I asked, you would know. :) Read it already!
Rating: Summary: A Must Buy For All S.V.H. Fans Everywhere!!!!!! Review: I have read many S.V.H. books, but none have evr hinted towards anything like this happening! I love it!It also has a message about cliques, which teaches us that thought cliques are each different, they are all equal. With a war of cliques going on at Sweet Valley High, Ken and Olivia still manage to work things out. Though the book does not come derectly out and say it, I got the immpression that Ken and Olivia hooked up. They are a wonderful couple who were truely meant for each other!
Rating: Summary: Olivia and Ken are meant for each other only... Review: I think this book was actually pretty good. The only thing that dissapointed me about it is that Ken and Olivia don't get together even after they find out that they are made for one another. They just stay friends which is ridiculous because this is a once in a lifetime love. But not everyone thinks the way I do, so... :|
Rating: Summary: The late Olivia(although she did come HOME FOR CHRISTMASlol Review: It is ethereal to read this novel as,in a book not long after,Olivia was crushed by a falling fridge and killed.Bummer.In this one Olivia starts a romance with a boy over the Internet, and does not realize it is Ken Matthews.
Rating: Summary: Interactive Romance? Review: Like you can see, all the reviews under this are very positive for this book. That's the reason I bought this. I must say that this was great book. Awesome! But this missed something. Something very important. Like action and excitement? Some momets this is boring etc. Now I think that I shouldn't have bought this book, because there is better books in Sweet Valley High. I'll rate this with 4 stars.
Rating: Summary: sorry, didn't like it! Review: Normally I love Sweet Valley books, I think Kate William is a great author. But I just found this book so obnoxiously unrealistic that I couldn't take it seriously. First of all, I have never seen such a ridiculous portrayal of cliques. I don't know about the States, but here in Canada our students are not divided into categories like hippies (what the heck are hippies now anyways? It's not like you still see flower power or anything like that these days), brains, "burnouts" and jocks. Those terms were used so much in this book that I got seriously annoyed. For example, in my school, almost everybody would fall into more than one of those groups. Kind of like Elizabeth I guess. Lot's of guys who play sports at my school are really smart. And lots of my friends would be considered "brains" I suppose, yet a couple of them have received athletic awards. Go figure! What also bugged me about this book was the way Olivia and Ken talked online. Talk about the opposite of teenager-lingo! I highly doubt they would speak like that to eachother in real life. about 90% of what they said was horribly corny. The whole book was corny!

Rating: Summary: Interactive Romance? Review: Olivia Davidson is feeling lonely and all she is doing these days is hanging at the Internet Chatrooms. Her nickname at Chatroom is Freeverse. Finally she meets Quarter, poet and gentle guy. Freeverse and Quarter are taking cyberwalks and talking all the time. They have even cyberkissed. Olivia feels strange when she realizes that she has fallen in love with a guy she have never met. And she feels even more strange when she founds out who Quarter really is! This book was perfect. I love surfing on net and it was nice to read about it. This is very romantic book and I couldn't put it down. Plot is great! Here was also the other plot, that made Liz and Todd fight badly. Liz's opinion of that thing was stupid and I agreed with Todd... and with Jess too, because she had same opinion. When I rate this, you may be surprised because I don't give this 5 stars. When I really think, I give this 4 stars. This book missed something. Should I call it excitement? In here Finland is wonderful book "Bittitiikeri" (Bit Tiger) and it has got quite much same kind of plot. But it has more excitement, reality, action and romance in it. I still think that you should read this book.
Rating: Summary: SVH tries On-Line Love Review: SVH jumps belatedly into the 190s with the media craze, love on-line, while returning to its old teen romance format. Along the way, it tries, through massively simplifying the kind of vicious social system of a high school, to make a heavy point about cliques being bad. As always with SVH, subtlety in delivering the moral isn't its best point. Despite this, the gradually developing on-line romance between football star Ken and arty intellectual Olivia is nicely handled, and the characters are likable and amusing.
