Rating: Summary: Elizabeth's mistake Review: Elizabeth Wakefield has always aspired to be a journalist, and expresses her thoughts in her personal diary. Things like relationship problems, which she's having with her longtime boyfriend Todd Wilkins. They agree to start seeing other people, and not be an exclusive couple. She accepts a date with Kris Lynch, a fellow journalist on the Oracle newspaper. After a few dates however, she realises it's not meant to be ... her heart lies with Todd. When she informs Kris of her decision, he's not happy. When rumours start circulating around the school that only she and twin sister Jessica knows, she suspects something's wrong. So when Elizabeth also realises her diary is missing, it's up to Jessica to save the day. I liked the story, because it tells of a difficult situation that isn't sugar coated. It is dealt with as it would be in a real life situation. Elizabeth does not remain calm throughtout the ordeal: she needs comfort, and expresses her anger. If you like Sweet Valley books, I would recommend this book, and #48, Slam Book Fever, which has the same message.
