Summary: This is not a book that HS students should have to read.
Review: The reason that I say high school students should not be required to read this is becuase of the profanity the cheating and the lying which the book is based on. This was a very trying time in are history but are kids should not have to be subject to reading this kind of material. Is there not another way of teaching this?

Summary: It revealed a sad but realistic understanding of the race
Review: This book I feel , helped me understand how things in life can get out of control, with no real idea of how big it could get. It's amazing the ignorance we hold inside of us all. To me it was a reminder to detatch myself from the so to speak hype of the world and step back to see the larger picture.

Summary: A very good book
Review: This book is about the Salem witchhunts. Abby is the main character who is very amlicious and deceived in her beliefs. She somehow gets other people to believe in her actions. John Proctor is an older man who Abby falls in love with, although, she knows that he is married and cannot get togther with her. Abby tries to get everyone to go along with her, and once they do, all hell breaks loose. People get killed and murdered for no reason at all. I really liked this book. It travled back into a troubled time involving mysteries and tragedies. I highly recomend reading this book.

Summary: Better for Drama Students
Review: This book is an alright book to read, if you were acting it out in Drama. If the book was written in regular form, then it would be good for the classrooms. This book was interesting to read but hard to understand. You had to some what jump back and forth between people talking. I feel for the people who had to be put in the concentration camps, and were forced to work against their will just to keep their family members alive. I do not think that people have a right to degrade other humans beings of their own kind or culture.

Summary: Its the best book ..............
Review: This is a book that shows us how everyone from Salem started to lie about that witchcraft thing. They werent smart to recognise that witches aren't in our world. Everyone in Salem wanted some excitment so they liked witchcraft but it wasn't this good , most of the people in Salem got hanged for something they never did they were all assumed guilt.

Summary: Best Play Ever
Review: This play is a major must-read. It's about a young girl turned deadly when she is scorned by the married man she wants. Set in the era of the Salem witch trials, the common matter of an adulterous affair becomes a matter of life & death - literally -as the young girl points her finger & cries "Witch!", so to speak, in order to get back at the married man & his wife. It is such a riveting story that you won't want to put the book down until you've reached the end.

Summary: hey!!!
Review: this play was excellently written by one of the most famouse playwrights of our time. the story itself is fictional but the events serrounding the story are true, the witch trials of 1692 in salem. Just a warning, to have a better undertanding and appreciation of this play, get a general information about the history of the witch trial of 1692 before reading or before viewing the play/movie.

Summary: good point
Review: this was an okay book and i feel that it had a good meaning too. But may be hard for some people to understand what it really meant.

Summary: Witches!
Review: This was one of the best books that I ever read. "The Crucible" By Arther Miller is a story of three girls who are dancing in the woods and are falsely accused of being witches! One of these girls cannot bare to hear the Lord's name. This play shows how people's opinons can change so quicly and drastically! Abgail was once ostracized from the community in this town and almost overnight, she is one of the most trusted people in town! This is a must read book for anyone who has been interested in plays. I like this book because I loved the characters; I didn't like it because it was long and hard to read.
