Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great story
Review: While this book did not quite have the magic of "Easy Connections", it was still an excellent read. I liked reading about the house renovations, and picturing the transformation, as much as the romance. "Mel" deals with issues of poverty and racism and in that sense seems more realistic than "Easy Connections", yet it gets a bit slapstick in parts and some of the rock'n'roll characters don't quite mesh with the rest of the story. However, I would still highly recommend this book for any Liz Berry fans or readers who like a good romance with some substance to it. P.S. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of "Easy Freedom"? I have never seen this book but would love to read it.
