Summary: The first of four terrific books!
Review: This is a wonderful book that follows the life of a young pioneer girl as she makes her own unique way in an uncompromising world. Although the book is set in the 1820's, DeLanna shows us that we have to be true to ourselves no matter what the circumstances. This is a super "girl power" book!
