Summary: teen life finally meets horses
Review: Thank you for this book. When I was in grade four and five I enjoyed reading Thoroughbred, the Saddle Club and Pony Pals, obviously now been fourteen those books are way too young for mature teenage readers who love horses.
This series is perfect for mature horse loving teens to get their fill of horsie books, without being sickened with the immauturity of a younger series.
I reccomend it to all teen horse lovers, definatly worth a try! I'm addicted!

Summary: FInally!!!! THey've grown up!!!
Review: Thank you sooo much Ms. Bryant for letting the SC girls finally grow up!! I've been collecting the series for who knows how long, and i'm still at it. But now i can start with a series that won't be just for kids 9-12 anymore!! Can't believe that Ms. Bryant decided to write a new series for young adults!! Thank you sooo much!!!

Summary: Thanks so much!!!
Review: Thanks so much for coming up with this new series!! It always bothered me that characters in books (Babysitters Club: How long have they been 13?) NEVER grow up. It's a fact of life and should happen eventually. It is also refreshing to see a series that's not horror or only romance. Like others on here, I read the Saddle Club even after I outgrew them!! I haven't read the first book yet, but am anxiouslly awaiting it. Today is Monday and it said that it was coming out today, but I went two places annd neither had it yet. Guess I'll wait a little longer =) Thanks Ms. Bryant!!! Becky

Summary: Finally the saddle Club grew up!!!
Review: Thanks to Bonnie Bryant for writing this new series. I haven't read the book yet, but just saw an advertisement for it in a magazine today. I used to love the Saddle Club books, but quite reading them a couple of years ago because I felt i was too old for it. Now the Saddle Club has grown up and I can read it again.

Summary: Good book...so different from SC
Review: The plot of this book was good, except that Lisa isn't in the end of the book!! Not only that, but they don't mention Deborah or little Maxi at all! Lisa's going out with Stevie's twin brother, and Stevie's learning how to drive. AHHH!!!!!!! Mrs. Reg is retired, also. And if this series is called Pine Hollw, what about the Bar None? Once again, the plot was good, but what about the Regnery crew? Or the Bar None Ranch?

Summary: Hurray!!!!!!
Review: This book is great!!! I love the saddle club books and that's how I know I'll love the pine hollow books too!! I think that the pine hollow books are much more realistic and more mature. I was worried that I'd outgrown the saddle club books and have nothing good to read! Thanks a lot Bonnie Bryant! Keep up the good work!

Summary: Fun, entertaining, exciting. That's this book.
Review: This book was fast paced and fun! Its plot is more complex than the any of Saddle Club's. If you're into horses The Long Ride is for you. I'm 13 and an avid horse lover. I grew out of the Saddle Club and was excited when Bonnie Bryant came out with the new Pine Hollow series. This book was what I was hoping to see. I would also reccomend the second one. It's a fun read too.

Summary: Different, but good
Review: This book was good. But different from the Saddle Club. I liked the Saddle Club more, with Stevie's practical jokes, and the SC's run-ins w/ Veronica. Still, it is a good series.

Summary: A Great Disappointment
Review: This book was not as good as it should have been. I agree with the reader from somewhere. This book was not worth wasting money on. It is nice to know what happened to the Saddle Club, but I won't buy another book. This book should be titled "The Saddle Club with Diver's Licenses". It was horrible. Lisa, Stevie, and Carole are still perfect. They think and talk about nothing me and my friends do. It angers me when50 year old authors try to write books about teenage life. I think teenagers should write those books.
