Summary: It was GREAT!
Review: I always loved Saddle Club Books. I thought they were the greatest, but they were getting a little too east for me. I was thrilled when I found out about the Pine Hollow series and I enjoyed The LOng Ride a lot. I liked how it kept me at the edge of my seat when I read about the accident!

Summary: Thank You Bonnie Bryant!!!!!
Review: I am 15 and so excited that this new series about Stevie, Carole, and Lisa is coming out. Thank you so much Ms. Bryant for writing this great new series!! If anyone wants to chat about horses, e-mail me.

Summary: WA-HOOOOOO
Review: I am soooooo happy that this new series is starting. Saddle Club is great, but I'm getting a little old for 100 page books. I read the prologue for "The Long Ride" and I can't wait until I can read it! But I do have one question, for "Rocking horse" (#77). What place were Stevie, Lisa, and Carole in the Rally? It never clearly said. Well, I really enjoy these books! E-mail me if you just want to chat about horses!

Summary: I can't wait!!
Review: I cant wait for this book to be released! I have all the Saddle Club books and am still collecting them but I was beginning to get to old for them! Everytime I go to the bookstore, I'm disappointed when I don't find this book (yet). Thanks Bonnie Bryant!

Summary: Bonnie does great as usual...but where are the horses?
Review: I continue to be a faithful reader of Bonnie Bryant, because the Saddle Club books have always been great and I'm just as horse crazy as Carole, but the Pine Hollow books are a bit different. Yes, it's true they are more real than the Saddle Club, but where are the horses? I read the Saddle Club to hear about Stevie, Lisa, and Carole's experieces growing up with horse. I wish more horse related things could be put into the Pine Hollow series.

Summary: It's good, but room for improvment!
Review: I have always loved the Saddle Club, and have read every single book in that series. But after starting to read Pine Hollow I was disappointed. I liked the accident in The Long Ride, very suspenseful, but this was probably the best book. They are well written, but after reading the Saddle Club, a bit of a letdown! For example, Belle, Starlight and Prancer were rarely mentioned, ditto Max. And this seems to be more of a romance series then a horse series. I'm not completely against romance, but Bonnie Bryant is advertising this as a horse series so of course horse lovers are going to read it. I am 13, totally horse crazy, and I know that when I'm Pine Hollow age I will still be mad about and involved in horses! Bonnie Bryant is a wonderful writer, but the Pine Hollow series needs a little work, and that's my $0.2...

Summary: I haven't read it yet, but...
Review: I have not read "The Long Ride"--yet! But, I have read the excerpt (standing in the middle of Wal-Mart) out of the Saddle Club book "English Rider." I think it's going to be an excellent book. If you haven't read the excerpt yet, you should. Especially if, like me, you used to read the Saddle Club books, but stopped because they were getting too young for you. I think Pine Hollow promises to be a great new series about Lisa, Stevie, and Carole. Thanks, Bonnie Bryant! Happy Reading!!

Summary: A good book.
Review: I have two friends and we are the Stable Club, a club like the Saddle Club. We have written another review on the book before I actually read it. Now that we all think about it, the book wasn't all that bad. It was good, sad, and well written. It was more realistic and mature. Although Lisa and Alex's romance was a little phoney. And they needed a little MORE horsey parts in it. How about adding some more arena work with their horses? Starlight, Belle and Prancer need it. Otherwise we liked it. We liked how they added the prologue in the beginning of the book. But we have one question--are those three girls still the Saddle Club? I hope Ms. Bryant moves the Saddle Club books into Pine Hollow books soon. It would be like many stories--from when they were younger--to when they're teens. We liked this Pine Hollow book and THE TRAIL HOME as well. I think that Pine Hollow and The Saddle Club are the best horse novel series so far. (I believe it will stay that way!)

Summary: i thought it was good, & i hope there are a lot more coming.
Review: i like the book, the story line is good, but there really wasn't a lot of horses in the book. carole & stevie still have their horses, right? where are the old charactors? i liked reading all the pranks the sc girls played on veronica, & vise-versa. i hope there are more books coming because it was good(that's why it got 4 stars), but i think it could be longer. the book seemed sooo short once i was done reading it. i would like to see more, but i hope the orginial charactors(from the saddle club books) appear in future pine hollow books

Summary: Very different...
Review: I liked book, but I think Bonnie Bryant tried too hard to write about Lisa and Alex, Carole's new job, etc. I Have read Pine Hollow number 1, 2, 3, 4, and I'm almost done with number five. I am really sick of Lisa's and Alex's romance. Especially in number five...eeewww...pathetic! And in number four it totally leaves you hanging. And in number five, well, Lisa is just getting mad at Carol and she's over reacting a little too much. Bonnie Bryant, I like your new series, but please, try not to write about the same thing over and over again. And try to add more horses--but with Stevie! She doesn't seem like she even likes horses any more! And the series is kind of like a big looooong story. I kind of wish that there would be about three books that extended the story but then MOVED ON. Please, consider what I wrote. And also, Ms. Bryant, add a little more story line--interesting stories--to the book. I did notice how you added Max and his daughters to number four & five. (Please try to do the things I said. And I like the Pine hollow books.)Thank you for writing so I can continue reading! -a pine hollow fan
