Summary: Lurlene Mcdaniel's books are addicting!!!
Review: "I want to live" was the first book by Lurlene Mcdaniel.Actually, I ordered it by mistake on Amazon.com, and I figured, "WHy not give it a shot?" It ended up being the best book I have ever read, and once I read this book, I got addicted. With in the past 2 1/2 months, I have read 15 Lurlene McDaniel books, all of which I would give 5 stars. Some of the other books I have read are,

For Till Death do us part; For better FOr worse forever; Baby Alicia is Dying; Saving Jessica; Ill Be Seeing you; Dont Die, my Love; Lifted up by angels, One last wish, Mother help me live;So Much to live for; I want to live; The girl who left death behind, and One last Wish, Please Dont Die.

Summary: Close to Death
Review: A Review by Laura
This story is about a girl named Dawn, with cancer. She wants to live a normal life with out being treated like she is sick all the time. For a while her cancer was in remission, but one day when she went to the hospital for a check up she finds out that her cancer is back.

I really liked this book because I can kind of understand how Dawn feels being a teenager and all. She has to face a lot of different challenges since she has cancer. I also understand how her brother Rob felt and how he had to deal with Dawns cancer. I also thought that Darcy was very selfish in thinking only about her wedding instead of caring about dawn.

I really think people should read this book because it is really good and it kind of made me think a little more about people with cancer or any thing else, and also understand what they have to go through.

Summary: Charts the lapse of Dawn's remission period
Review: All five books about Dawn Rochelle's struggles with cancer and overall health have been reprinted and will make a fitting gift for any who want the complete set. I Want To Live charts the lapse of Dawn's remission period and the challenges she faces in handling a bone marrow transplant from her brother; but the others in the series detailing her initial diagnosis, struggle for life, encounter with an ill friend, and ongoing mental changes make for excellent leisure choices.

Summary: This is a great book!
Review: I love this book! It's so sad, escpecially when Dawn nearly died. I know what it's like to have a family member who has cancer so I can understand Rob's feelings. I think Darcy is a jerk because she can't handle the fact that Dawn has cancer. All I have to say is that this book is a tear-jerker and I loved it! Lurlene, keep up the good work.

Review: I love this book. It is so touching to the heart. It shows you how meaningful life is, and how much there is to live for. Fourteen year old, Dawn Rochelle, was in remission from cancer. Then she had a relapse. You will go though the struggle with Dawn as if you were right there with her. As she hangs on for her life, your heart goes out to her. You want to be in her place so she doesn't have to struggle. Her brother, Rob, and her parents are so supportive and care deeply for her. I recommend this book to everyone. It's worth reading. Summary: I Want to Live
Review: I Want to Live is the second book in the Dawn Rochelle series. This book was, in my opinion, the best book in the Dawn Rochelle series. Dawn has to get a bone marrow transplant, and her brother, Rob is a compatible donor. Her doctor said that if she doesn't get a bone marrow transplant, she'll die. After she got the transplant, she got really sick. She died for a few seconds. She had no vital signs, but she wasn't completely dead yet. The doctors managed to revive her. Her being alive was a miracle, because she came to close to death. There wasn't anything about this book that I didn't like. Lurlene McDaniel has this way that her books just captivate you. You can't put them down. And she makes you become attached to the main character(s) that makes you feel as if you know them in real life.

Summary: This story is AWESOME!
Review: I Want to Live was a great book. I cried at the end. It's a sequel to Six Months to Live, which is also a tear jerker. I LOVED I Want to Live so much! Towards the end of the book, Dawn has a relapse of her cancer. She needs to have a bone marrow transplant to have a 50-50 chance of survival. After the transplant from her brother Rob, Dawn gets an infection and... well, I don't want to spoil to book so I'll stop writing.
