Summary: Not impressive
Review: I admit... I thought this was gonna be another teen romance novel... but I couldnt be more off. This book is fantastic with its creative style and fresh sense of characters. Kate Bjorkman, the narrarator, is heartfelt, yet crude and realistic. The plot is somewhat predictable, but it is the characters that truly bring the book to life. I found myself laughing outload at the "hero's" antics and the chemistry among the family and friends made me think of the great times ive had. This book is great and I suggest everyone read it!

Summary: A very special romance novel
Review: I am not typically the type who reads romance novels, but when I read this one, it touched me in the heart. It is funny to read what the THE ROMANCE WRITER'S PHRASE BOOK has to say about the situation Kate Bjorkman is in. I would like to see the author, Louise Plummer, write a book on Richard's view of their romance.

Summary: Not impressive
Review: I checked this book out of the library for a quick read, not expecting substance, but I thought it would be fun. I was right, except it wasn't fun. I usually love romance, but it was very dull in this book. I hated the way the main character told her story. It seemed like Louise Plummer was trying too hard. When I read the book A Dance For Three , I could not believe it was by the same author! So you shouldn't let this book stop you from reading a dance for three, which was very good.

Summary: Great Christmas Romance!
Review: I got this book from the library in the eighth grade and absolutely loved it! Kate's story is so easy to relate to and her commentaries are absolutely hilarious! Every teenage girl I know has been in her situation and she makes it so funny that you can't help but love the story. The Christmas backdrop maskes the book perfect. It's romantic, funny, and a great holiday read!

Summary: Still loving it years later..
Review: I loved this book so much that I read it every winter-- 6 years later I am still captivated by the story...even at 20 years old. It's like reading it for the first time all over again. You can get emotionally interwined in the pages and there are certain parts that always give me this warm fuzzy feeling accompanied by a smile..no matter how many times I read it.

Summary: A wonderful new approach to romance
Review: I really don't enjoy reading a book with only romance, I usually would like some mystery or adventure along with it. This book completely changed my opinion. It's funny and simply wonderful. It's showing romance in a totally different new light through the eyes of an anti-romance girl who just found love in a wonderful guy.

Summary: one of my favorites!
Review: I took this book out from the library & read it, and loved it so much I had to buy it! I've read it at least 5 times-it doesn't get boring at all and it's hilarious! If you're one of those kind of people who like the long drawn-out mushy romances, this isn't really for you-but it's definitly my kind of book! even if you don't like romances at all, this book could change your mind because it is so realistic
