Review: I am 12 years old and I chose theis book to read after reading the back cover in library and reconizing that it was a movie I had seen recently on T.V.. I enjoyed reading even after I had seen the movie. I would highly recommend this to any person any age.

Review: I am 14 years old and I chose this book to read from my library in my school.At first I wasn't happy with the idea of having to do a book-report on a book with a swimmer.Then,after I read the 0utstanding,Stupendous,Marvelous book i changed my mind.This is the first book I have ever read that actually made me cry.The agony of losing Andy in the horrible car wreck was truly heart wrenching. I think every one should read this book for support,understanding,and just for a good read.=)

Review: I have almost ruined this book! I have cried all over the pages, gripped it tightly in excitement, and read it so many times that the spine is very broken in. I noticed many reviews were made by younger readers. I am a college student, and I love it at my age also. It grabs onto emotions you didn't know you had! I love it! It's beautifully written and inspiring!

Review: i loved the alex books so much i've read the whole series 4 times . tessa duder wrote the books so well and i recommend it to anyone who likes a book that gets you totally absorbed . the characters are so real , you'd never know they were fictional it's the same with the whole overal stroy .It really is one of the best series i will ever read." nil bastardio carborundum" quote Alex .hahaha.Alex is such a strong character so full of emotion, so inspiring .I wish she was real so i could meet her . Tom and all are the same . the book has a sort of moral and gives you the view from all sides [as in characters]. truly the best.***********yet it's sad how so many people look up to her and can't see she needs company or some sort of friendship . in the book when she describes Tom as being larger then life , i guess it describes her to and thats why they suit so much .i love it

Review: I loved this book because the characters are so real and you really can relate to Alex Archer. As a swimmer myself, it is really hard to find good books about swimming that aren't really cheesy and lame. The only other author who seems to do this well is Chris Cruncher in the book Stotan!. I give this book 5 stars, and recomend it to everyone who has ever been a swimmer.

Review: I loved this book! It is an excellent read and is well written. The story is beautiful and the characters are believable. It's a story an girl can relate to, no matter their age. The emotions and trials of Alex are very real; it's hard to put it down until you're done! I recomend this book to anyone. Not only does it talk about growing up a teenage girl, but it describes things such as the personal struggles of competiting in a way that is different and refreshingly honest. Buy this book today!

Review: I was at the secondhand bookstore, reading a book about greatbooks for girls, and it mentioned one I thought I'd seen whilebrowsing the shelves earlier. I went and picked it up, 259-page"In Lane Three, Alex Archer" and decided to get it - itsounded good and was only ... anyway. I spent the next three daysreading little parts of it at a time, and could barely put itdown. The epilogue was especially good, and after finishing it Iimmediately wrote out a new Favourite Books List - there was a new onein first place.
