Review: Johnny VooDoo was by far one of the best books I have read. Not many books will get me reading to the point where I don't want to stop until it's finished. Dierdre is an outcast in her town. She just moved there and she has no friends. She feels all alone between her home and school worlds and her mother had died years before. Then she meets Johnny and everyhting changes for Dierdre and she learns a valuable lesson. True love always lasts. But is the love between her and Johnny true love or is it just a game. Will their love last?

Review: Moving away and starting over must be hard. For Diedre its even harder. Deidre's mother died and her father,Curtis is someone who doesn't really do much of anything. One day Diedre meets a boy, Johnney. Who changes the way she looks at life and the way she takes it for granted. Johnney and Diedre's whole relationship unfortunately takes a turn that shakes their whole relationship. Johnney must then leave to help his brother and leaves Deidre suddenly realizing how much she needs and loves Johnney as much as he needs her. This book, Johnney Voodoo leaves you breathless with its twists and turns and an ending you'll never guess!

Summary: Excellent book!
Review: This is one of the most entertaining and moving romances I've read in a long time-- even better than many adult books! I highly recommend it, though I think it is more appropriate for high schoolers than middle schoolers. As an adult reader, I was enthralled. I can't wait to read more from Dakota Lane!
