Summary: It's a great book... I'm reading it for English
Review: Jacob Have I Loved is a great book. I picked it for an English project, and it's better than I thought it would be. What happens at the end is kind of ironic...

Summary: To Mr. Rome
Review: I believe that this book is great ,because it tells the story of twins which blends humor with the jealousy of one of the twins. This is a great book for teens and i recommend it for everyone who loves books. Personally i don't like reading but this book has given me another view on books.

Summary: 213- Reading
Review: I think Jacob have I loved is a great book for all teens, especially for those who live with younger sibilings, to read because of louise's journey to get along with Caroline.

Summary: 212- Jacob Have I Loved
Review: The Book, I believe, was a real good book. Although, many people I know didn't really enjoy the book, I did, because I think that every teenager, or pre-teen in my case, can find some relation to how Louise felt...

Summary: its good!
Review: Jacob Have I loved was alittle boring at first, but i kept reading it and gave the book a chance... I thought some parts were very dull but others had so much impact that i wanted to read forever... sara does complain, but that is just because she does not feel cared for or loved. Give this book a chance and read it!

Summary: The Best book in the World!
Review: I think that this book, Jacob have I loved was the best book I have ever read. I reccomend this book to evreyone and I hope you enjoy considering to but this fantastic book. You'd get more for your money. After you read each chapter, you should discuss it with your family or friends because It is about a girl that is very jealous of her sister and evreyone appreciates her sister and not her. If you are having these type of problems, you should definately read this book.

Summary: Decide for yourself
Review: This is a beautiful book, excellently written, and draws emotions from you forcefully. But somehow...I didn't care for it.

Maybe it was the fact that the main character has so much going against her. Maybe it was that there was too much heartache. Maybe I'm crazy.

I know this book is a splendid one. I know it will probably go on to be a classic. But it seemed to be spiraling down, instead of up, and it took me with it.

Who knows? Maybe you will adore it. But it's definitely not the kind of book you get thrills out of; the underlying message is a serious one. Somehow, I find it too sober to read more than once.

Summary: Reading before my daughter does
Review: I have been a writer for 25 years. I have an 8-year-old daughter who loves to read, and I've recently been reading books to see if they are beyond her reading abilities. I was incredibly moved and amazed at this book. I don't think that my daughter can read it on her own yet, and I may try to read it with her....but I know that in a few years this book can open her heart in the same way that it did mine. This is the kind of book that is life-changing and life-affirming. It's honest, gorgeously written, funny, unbearably sad, and ultimately uplifting. A true classic.
