Summary: Great, but little confusing
Review: This book is about a boy that is normal but yet not. He has parents and he has friends. He is normal for the most part, but at times he will go psycho and be very mean. His parents are scared at times because of the way he acts. How it ends is up to you to read this book.
Things I like about this book are that it doesn't use words that you have to grab a dictionary and look it up. This book does have a lot of action in it. It doesn't get confusing often, but will every once and a while.
Things I didn't like were the lack of details used in this book. The book needed more conversation and it would be much more interesting. When it gets confusing it gets really confusing.

Summary: Jake Riley: Irreparable Damaged
Review: I couldn't put the book down until I read the last word. The characters are well developed and realistic. The plot is excellent and I want to congratulate Rebecca Fjelland Davis on a wonderful and well written book.

Summary: Jake Riley
Review: I don't think that this book is a very depiction of what it is like to be a teen-ager. It seems like it was writtne by someone who is kind of old and out of it.

Summary: Good work Rebecca
Review: I loved this book, this book was brilliantly written by a woman who knows her stuff. I recommend this for a good time. Good for all teens and above. Rebecca knows her topic! I am a former student of hers and I am extremely pleased with her work. Even if I wasn't a student of hers I would have still bought the book. I feel that people who are from all parts of the world would like this NOT just from Minnesota

Summary: Boys get a bad rap
Review: I read this book, and I was perturbed by the negative image of teen-age boys that it portrayed.
Also the part where he had sex with a cow is right out of W Faulkner and was in poor taste and totally unnecessary. It almost seemed like the author was just trying something on for shock value.
If you're not from Minnesota, I don't see why you would want to read this book.
It gets one star for having been written, that's all.

Summary: A good suspenseful read
Review: I think this book was a great suspenseful read. The Iowa farm culture was accurately described and was a great backdrop. The barn scene was a little disturbing but was great nonetheless.

Summary: A good change
Review: My mom bought this book recently because of who wrote it. (I live in Mankato, too) It was very good- a very fast paced book- I read it over a day and a half.

Well, 'Lainey-Belainey' has quite an experience in life, but the reader was right with her along the way. Very good. A nice changed from the 'heavy' ones read in school.

Summary: A MUST read
Review: Rebecca Davis has created very real characters that I'm sure we all can relate to in one way or another. She has captured some very real situations that we can relate to, maybe you or even your child has experienced a similar situation. This is a wonderful and fast read that young and old will surely enjoy. Rebecca has a way with words that captures and reels the reader deep into the story. I highly reccommend this book!
