Rating: Summary: The Terrorist was a great book!!! Review: The Terrorist was filled with suprises and excitement throughout the whole story. I was shocked that Laura gave Jehran Billy's passport to America. It was a great book that had great character development. I thought the way Billy died was proper for the story and not too dramatic. They didn't talk about the explosion do much. The story was filled with great detail, also. It had an exciting moment on almost every single page. Caroline B. Cooney knows how to put the words so you can visulize the setting and characters. It almost seems like you're there in London with Laura at the LIA, or London Internation Acadamy. Overall, it was a terrific book.
Rating: Summary: GREAT BOOK Review: i could not put the book down. It was a great book. It was very exciting.the only thing was the end was dissapointing----i was so excited trying to figure out who did it...but it never tells you at the end!!!---otherwise it ws really good
Rating: Summary: The first half was confusing Review: The Terrorist was a pretty good book. The first half, however, was kind of confusing. There were too many characters to remember. Once they were down, I could easily finish.

Rating: Summary: I could not put this book down. Review: The Terrorist is a very powerful book that is a very suspensful murder mystey. Another great book I have read written by Caroline B. Cooney. I cant wait to read more of her books.
Rating: Summary: WOW!!!!!!! Review: THIS BOOK IS AMAZINGLY REAL YOU JUST CAN NOT PUT IT DOWN YOU FEEL FOR LAURA AND HER FAMILY AND POOR BILLY.IT WAS GREAT BUT AT THE END I WAS SO ANGRY AT THE END.YOU REALLY SHOULD TRY THIS BOOK.BUT START WHEN YOU HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO FINISH IT
Rating: Summary: The Terrorist Review: This book was better than I was expecting. The plot was decent, but rather predictable. Unfortunately, the main character, Laura Williams, was not exactly likable--ignorant, spoiled, and shallow. The other characters were rather sketchy but had the beginnings of being interesting. An international setting helped to enhance the book.
Rating: Summary: Another great book from Caroline B. Cooney! Review: This is a powerful, sad, and sometimes funny book, all in one. Laura Williams and her family have moved to London where everything is different. You can't buy the same candy as in the U.S., you take public transportation to school, and once you get there, you're with children from all over the world. Some of these children are there because their parents supported the wrong political leader and would be killed if they didn't leave their country. One regular morning, Laura's little brother, Billy, takes the subway to school, as usual. A man hands him a package and tells him, "Your friend dropped this." Billy takes the package and thanks the kind stranger. Then, all of a sudden, he remembers then signs reading Do Not Leave Luggage Unattended. He remembers the bomb drills at school. Then there is an explosion from the package and Billy is dead. When Laura finds out what happens to Billy, she vows to find his killer. She is suspicious of everyone around her -- even her friends at school. She will not stop until the murderer is punished. Caroline B. Cooney's writing style of letting you inside the characters' funny and also sad thoughts really completes this book. This is a must-read for anyone.
Rating: Summary: A very suspenseful murder mystery. Review: Laura Williams, a junior at London International Academy, engages in a desperate search for the person(s) who placed a package in her little brother Billy's, killing him. Her search draws to a close as the terrorist is revealed as an unlikely suspect. A very suspenseful murder mystery. An exciting read. Full of new political realizations with a lesson to be learned by all.
Rating: Summary: Kinda Freaky Review: I read this book a few years ago, and afterwards it went on my bookshelf. Being in highschool now my room had grown into a mess of books, papers, and other miscellaneous objects over the years. In the process of cleaning it, i came across this book. I decided to read it again. I enjoyed the book even more now! The foreshadowing in it is easier to pick up at this age. It's slighty bizarre that in this book a bombing has taken place and the protagonist suspects someone from an Islamic Middle-Eastern country. So many of the points stated in the book foreshadowed September 11th. Despite the eeriness of it, The Terrorist is a decent, enticing, quick read.
