Summary: November Ever After
Review: I loved this book! Laura Torres does a magnificant job creating a world where Amy, whose mom has been killed recently in a car crash, is trying to heal. Amy's best friend, Sara, who is Amy's support, seems to be slipping away. The great thing about this novel, is when Sara admits that she is gay, we see Amy is upset, not by her friend's sexual preference, but because Sara didn't trust Amy with this knowledge.

Torres has a way with words, and when Amy is alone, dealing with the grief from losing her mother, the reader feels that grief. Descriptions are perfect, lending a real sense of place, characters are strong (young love as well as best friends), and dialogue is fast-moving.

The only thing that I am disappointed about is that there aren't any other fiction titles by Laura Torres. I felt this was a fine, well-written first novel. I can't wait to read more.

Review: I truly enjoyed this books.I felt like I was there with the characters especially when Amy found out about Sara. I felt for both girls hurt. I think it is truly a great book for friends and love ones of young teens who think they may be gay.
