Summary: THE BEST!!!!!
Review: This was the best book that i have ever read. I read the book far before the movie came out and i really didnt think that Mandy Moore would do a good job. She did better than I thought she was going to but the story line is so great its hard to concentrate on anything but that. I love all of Nicholas Spark's stuff.......READ IT ALL!!!!!

Summary: good book
Review: i love Nicholas Sparks' writing. I own all of his books, but A Walk to Remember is my favorite. It's nothing like the movie and is even very appropriate for younger teens!

Summary: This book is boring!
Review: I watched the movie first with that Mandy Moore girl and really liked the movie. It was cute and sweet. So I was excited to read the book. ... I've never came across a movie that was better then the book until now. This book was terrible. Badly written and (YAWN) boring! It went on and on and on. I finally had to put it down and read something else. SAVE YOUR MONEY, DON'T BUY THIS BOOK!

Summary: Great Book
Review: This was a good book, but I recommend reading it before seeing the actual movie. It is very different from the movie and it even takes place in a different time period. It was a sad, and happy book. I really recommend it.

Review: This was a terrific book. I couldn't put it down. It nothing like the movie it is MUCH better. It a teen romance that lasts forever. I lent it to all my friends. It is great!

Summary: It's great everytime
Review: I've read it 7 freakin' times! And I love it everytime. It's about Landon Carter, a 17 year old high school senior, who's known Jamie Sullivan since they were both knee high to a grasshopper. He signs up for Drama Class, because he figures it will be easy, little does he know that he'll end up being cast for the lead in the Spring Play, having to walk Jamie home EVERY night for 3 weeks, and falling in love with her by the time the play is over. I'm not giving away the ending but it's a book worth reading.

Summary: Sappy and Sweet
Review: I have to say this about "A Walk to Remember": This book is cheesy, sappy, obvious, and totally predictable.

But I still loved it.

Call me a hopeless romantic, but this book is really wonderful. The story of Landon Carter and Jamie Sullivan reinforced the ideas (that I always believed): That young people can know what true love is if they put their minds to it. That love does not have to be complicated but can be simple and sweet. Love does not have to be (and really shouldn't be) about physical attraction. If you have postive experiences with another person that you love, those happy times will never leave you for the rest of your life, no matter what happens.

This book isn't for everyone, but if you don't mind a bit of sap in a sweet and simple romance then I recommend this for you.

Summary: Engaging, entertaining, even heart-wrenching, yet ...
Review: Having read Message In a Bottle, The Notebook, and A Bend In The Road, I can honestly say this was my least favorite. I was caught up in the story and I couldn't stop reading until I was near the end of the book. I could feel the emotions of the characters and I responded to their achievements and to their tribulations with my own feelings. It was an excellent story until the end. To put it bluntly, I thought the ending was "hokey." It was anticlimatic. Still, it is entertaining and worth a quick read.
