Rating: Summary: The Secret of Sarah Revere: An Overall Good Read Review: "The Secret of Sarah Revere" by Ann Rinaldi about the Revolutionary War was suprisingly a very good book. I am a seventh grade student, and this book was a summer reading assignment that i did not look forward to. But after reading the first few chapters, it was hard to put it down!First of all, i really liked the main character Sarah, a 13-year-old girl, because she's a lot like me, and i could relate to her. The book was also packed full of historical content which i found fascinating. My only complaints are that it ended too soon (the book, not the war) and the ending "secret" was a little weak. But overall, its a good story and really I enjoyed reading it. I definitely recommend this book to anyone, especially those who love American history. I look forward to reading more of Ann Rinaldis books.

Rating: Summary: Another Awesome Book Review: Ann Rinaldi is an incredible author who has ended up sparking an interest in historical Fiction for me. In this book, I was pleasently surprised to find that the quality of her books have not decreased. One thing that I did not enjoy was the fact that, not only did Sarah not make up with Dr. Warren, but that Rinaldi never told you who fired the first shot (Whether it be her fault or not)
Rating: Summary: Factual and Romantic Review: Another Rinaldi creation, this time the one of Sarah Revere, daughter of the famed man who supposedly warned of the British. So maybe this book isn't as accurate as it could have been, but what was altered was altered for entertainment, which is what fictions do. Yeah, the romance was cheap, as in all her other novels, but still worth it for Sarah's trials and tribulations.
Rating: Summary: Rinaldi does it again! Review: As usual, I think Ann Rinaldi stunned everybody with her amazing talent to express the history of the world so excitingly. She has a real knack to do this. I really liked the Secret of Sarah Revere because it was so exciting to see what it would be like to be the daughter of a famous Patriot who played such a large role in the history of the United States. I highly recommend this book!
Rating: Summary: Not the best Review: I have read most all of Ann Rinaldi's books and throughly enjoyed them, but this book was slow and went on and on, until I have to put it down.
Rating: Summary: The Secret of Sarah Revere- Great Book! Review: I loved this book! This is about Paul Revere's 13 year old daughter during the Revelutionary War. Sarah has to deal with her new step-mother, strict grandmother, secretive father, annoying big sister, and worring about tons of other stuff. There is a bitter-sweet ending that you'll love. Sarah's life is never dull. This book if for you if you like anything to do with this time period!
Rating: Summary: great book Review: i loved this book!ann rinaldi is a great author!i love her books! i would recomend her to anyone!i loved the concept of the book!its sad that sarah didnt end up with the guy at the end though!but it was good anyway!
Rating: Summary: Amazing Review: I read this as extra credit for my english class, and I'm glad I did. It was an enjoyable, easy read while at the same time it taught me about an actual event that occurred in history. I recommend this to readers who would like to know more about this time period. It is not boring at all. However, it seemed like Sarah was miserable, and the ending was kindof...dull and unhappy. This was the first book I read by Anne Rinaldi. Since this book, I have read Hang a Thousand Trees with Ribbons and The Fifth of March by the same author. The Fifth of March is REALLY good, but I really liked Hang a Thousand Trees with Ribbons a lot as well.
Rating: Summary: A different perspective on a well known part of US history. Review: I read this book on vacation when I ran out of my own books (and was unable to buy any others) and grabbed one of my daughter's books. It was very interesting to have a different take on the story of Paul Revere, one that not only gave new insights into life in the Boston area at that time, but one that would also speak specifically to ideas of importance to young girls. Okay, the teenage heart throb issue did not appeal much to me, by my ten-year-old enjoyed it immensely.
