Rating: Summary: It will leave you wanting to dance in your Nuddy Pants! Review: Dancing in my Nuddy Pants was a wonderful continuation to Louise Rennison's British series that started with Angus, Thongs, and Full-frontal snogging. I have read all of her books since they came out and she continues to amaze me with her creative new words (i.e. blog, wisdomosity) and catchy phrases. This is a great book for teenage girls and I definitely have to say that this book will have you laughing nonstop. So don't read this one when other people are around!

Rating: Summary: Fourth Book and Still Laughing!! Review: Fourteen-year-old Georgia lives in London. She attends an all-girls school, but doesn't take it very seriously, as she is always finding some way to mock her teachers. She has four best friends that attend the same school she does: Jas, Jools, Ellen, and Rosie. Unfortunately for Georgia, her parents are a bit on the loony side. Her mother has boobs the size of watermelons and is a stay-at-home mother, although she doesn't do: doesn't clean dishes, doesn't cook meals, doesn't care for the house. The only thing she does do is take care of Georgia's little sister, Libby. Libby is, in simplest words, a child gone wrong. She pees in any corner she wants to of Georgia's room, she hides her dirty diapers in Georgia's bed, she has food such as potatoes and beans as dolls, and she has the speech patterns and impediments of a one-year-old. As for Georgia's father, he is a business man who is very strict, uptight, and "in his own world." Georgia's cat Angus is a half Scottish, half domestic cat that is the size of a small Labrador, only insane. Every night and day he teases and taunts the next-door neighbor's two miniature poodles. He has a mysterious "lair" at the back of Georgia's closet, where he strategizes his next attack. He also has a love affair with the neighbors across the street's prize Burmese cat Naomi. They both love each other, Georgia says, but her dad and the neighbors can't stand Angus and want to get him fixed, as in the last book. He proudly still has his "trouser snake addendums"! Georgia is still faced with her dilemma from the last book, choosing between the sex god and Dave the Laugh. The sex god, Georgia's boyfriend for a good time now, is at least four years older than her, is the lead singer in his rock band, who have a good chance of getting a contract, has great snogging skills, is absolutely gorgeous and fit, makes Georgia go "jelliod" and unable to form comprehendible sentences while with him, and is a SEX GOD, was Georgia's first choice over Dave. However, Dave is just as fit and almost as good-looking as the sex god is. But Dave has twice the humor the sex god has, if the sex god has any at all. Georgia feels like she doesn't have to worry about what she says or does around Dave because she doesn't have to worry about impressing him, like she does the sex god. For now, Georgia has chosen the sex god, thinking she can just forget about Dave the Laugh...but she is completely wrong! I loved this book just as much as I loved the previous three - I didn't dare put it down for fear of not knowing what happened next. I really enjoyed the British words Rennison used in the context of the book; there was a glossary at the end to define the British terms the reader didn't understand - even the definitions were hilarious!
Rating: Summary: Fun Teen Fiction Review: Georgia has finally chosen Robbie the Sex God over Dave the Laugh, since, of course, Dave the Laugh is now dating Georgia's best friend Ellen. But suddnely the Sex God is never around, he's just too busy with band practice. Then Dave the Laugh breaks up with Ellen, and suddenly Georgia begins to become confused. Does she really want to be Dave the Laugh's girlfriend? Does she still love the Sex God? Georgia has no idea what to do, and it's making her crazy. Rennison has created another great novel about Georgia's life. Georgia feels and experiences things that all teenage girls experience and feel at some time in their lives. A great novel for teenage girls the world over. Erika Sorocco
Rating: Summary: So Funny! Review: Georgia is back and still funny :) I love these books and am so proud of Rennison for delivering sequals that are as funny, and in the case of the 2nd book On the Bright Side, I'm Now the Girlfriend of A Sex God funnier, sequals. One of my favorite scenes from this book is when Georgia's brain is racing because she is having coffee with her sex god and she is trying to avoid the santa claus mustache effect by drinking "like a hampster at Hammy's" .... yet another classic, go Rennison!

Rating: Summary: Excellent wrap-up to an excellent series Review: Georgia Nicholson is at it again. Picking up where "Knocked Out By My Nunga-Nungas" left off, "Dancing in my Nuddy-Pants" finishes the "Confessions of Georgia Nicolson" series in style. As if dealing with "Furry Baby Jesuses", a brief stint as hockey captain, backstage antics, a last showdown with the Bummer Twins, and a really eventful trip to Paris weren't enough, Georgia must sort out her feelings for Dave the Laugh and Robbie the Sex God before one of them does something rash...like move to New Zealand! As ever, Rennison treats her heroine's escapades with wit and candor, and strange phrases not even British people knew...until they started reading the books. And saddening though it is that this is the end of the series, Rennison has given Georgia a right and proper conclusion.
Rating: Summary: Nuddy-Pants Review Review: Georgia Nicolson is back, and better than ever in the fourth installment, Dancing in my Nuddy-Pants. She is still swooning over Robbie, the lead singer in the band The Stiff Dylans. It seems as if Robbie will be going to Hamburger-a-gogo land (America), to tour, and Georgia desperately wants to join them, but she has to figure out how to break the news to Mutti and Vati. During the middle of this disaster, she takes a school trip to Paris where she almost gets her teacher to fall into the Seine. In Paris, she also meets a handsome French boy. At the very end of the story, Robbie breaks some shocking news to Georgia, and she goes wild. Will she ever get over it? We'll have to wait for the next book in this hilarious series. Dancing in my Nuddy-Pants was definitely a great book. The crazy antics and diary entries from Georgia kept me laughing for hours. I just couldn't put the book down, it was so tantalizing. I really hope you give this book a chance, because once you read the first pages, you won't put it down until you are finished.
Rating: Summary: Dancing in My Nuddy Review: Great beginning but odd ending; we never know what happens with her and Dave the Laugh. I think the 1st book was the best out of the 4
Rating: Summary: fun plot, horridly frustrating end! Review: I am an extremely loyal fan of the Georgia books, and was greatly anticipating this fourth chapter of the delightfully droll series. The plot was funny, as usual, and had some interesting points, including the trip to Paris, but the resolution upset me. First of all, I was under the impression that this was to be the final book of the series. However, Rennison either doesn't understand how to end series, or lied about this being the last of Georgia, because the book had very little closure. She waited until the final pages to once again bring up the conflict of Dave the Laugh v. SG, and then gave us a pitiful excuse for a cliffhanger as to the outcome. I could forgive this action if there is indeed another book on the way, but otherwise, i'm sorely disappointed.
