Dancing in my Nuddy-Pants, Louise Rennison, 0-06-009746-9

"Georgia thought she had finally put her "red-bottomosity" to rest when she chose Robbie the Sex God over Dave the Laugh, but now she's not so sure. Is she doomed to be a pop-star widow, or will she take her own bottom firmly in hand? As always, in this fourth book about Georgia's angst-filled confessions, nothing ever turns out as planned!"
Taking place in her home land of England, Georgia's back again in the fourth book in her series, bringing along her wacky adventures of living as an English teen. As you read the series, you will get to know Georgia's character, she a bit of everything ;spontaneous, out going, funny, rude, self-obsessed, difficult, but most of all, she has a good heart. But now, time has gone by and Georgia has learned to mature up, or has she? No, not a chance, Georgia is the same crazy girl she has always been, with the exception of having a Sex god (a.k.a. Robbie) for a boyfriend. All was going well until Robbie had to travel around to promote his record. With Robbie away Georgia is left alone, boyfriend-less, while her friends go out with their boyfriends. Georgia secretly starts to actually have feelings for her ex-boyfriend, Dave the Laugh. This can't be possible, Dave the Laugh is going out with her friend Ellen. Georgia's way of trying to settle things, never turns out as planned! This genre is non-fiction narrative, but it's hilarious. It takes you along on the bazaar journey of Georgia Nicolson's English life.
Dancing in my Nuddy-Pants was a real page turner because every page leads you to a funny event that is going to occur to Georgia, and you'll just want to keep on finding out what bad thing is going to happen to her next. The author makes Georgia seem like a normal person, but the some of the events that happen to her are so embarrassing and hilarious at the same time, that it makes Georgia's life seem so unbelievable, and it even makes you want to be embarrassed for her. The style of writing the author uses is very creative, it's written as if it were Georgia's diary which makes even more fun to read. I really recommend this book to girls that are in seventh grade or older, and that have a good sense of humor. I think it's a great book for all girls, whether they like reading or not. I think no matter how much you don't like to read, this book will really get to you, and you'll end up liking it.

Summary: Another "Fabbity Fab" Book by Lousie Rennison
Review: "Dancing in my Nuddypants", by Lousie Rennison is the latest installment of a series of diaries written through the mind of a hilariously conceited and lovable 14 year old girl. Georgia is a typical, self-centered teen who is all about having fun with her friends and making sure school doesn't ever become too dull. You'll laugh out loud at her dating blunders and her general 'confusiosity' about life! Whether Georgia is in the nuddypants or not, her adventures will always make for a good read. This book will definitely cheer you up!

Summary: Laffin in my nuddy-pants
Review: ... i have read all of the georgia nicholson books and i must say i laff out loud in the middle of social studies when we're learning about the revolutionary war cuz im thinking about Georgia, Slim, Jas, or Libby. My best friend and I share the books (i bought the last 2) and we're on the phone for hours laffing about how Georgia's grandpa dropped his teeth down some ladys bra or something! I swear... if another book dowsn;t come out soon, I will write angry letters to Louise Rennison! Parents... don't hesitate... buy this for your daughter now... i guarentee she will have the best fun reading than she ever will!

Summary: Slowly slipping away...
Review: ...but its stll a good book! Not as funny as its predecessors but it is still worthwhile reading. It is starting to loose the "Humor" side of the novel to a more serious impact on its readers...and probably a sequel. I am not sure of the sequel part since the sequels look about done, but it still leaves out huge gaps that need to be filled in as in what will happen when Robbie returns? Will Georgia wait a full year without him? Will there be a breakup and take Dave the Laugh? If this was a good finish, it wasnt all that good. Still a good book to read but it will leave you with questions that might not be answered.

Summary: I Shared Her With My Friends And...
Review: ...They were crazy about her! Almost everyone in our group had to read them, well all the ones I own, and still want more. We all can relate to her, exept for one of us who is so much like Jas (Georgia's exasperating best friend, she dosn't really understand the snogging scale or expressions like "..how your father..." very well) but dosent know it. I can't wait to tell them about the fourth book, they'll go crazy...

Summary: Not As Good As The First
Review: Although better than "Knocked Out By My Nunga Nungas", this doesn't even come close to being as funny and fresh as "Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging" the premier edition of Georgia's angst ridden diaries.

There was lots of Libby - my favourite character, and the one who keeps the entire book from reverting to Georgia adding "osity" to the end of every second word and whining about Dave the Laugh, her vati, Jas, Slim or some other petty aspect of her life.

That's the way the books are, and it was funny the first time around, but it's starting to get old. The author should considering thinking of some major plot events that could happen in the next book and some truly original humour before publishing the next book.

I will probably still read the next installment, for a few cheap laughs and because I'm a sucker and want to find out what happens next, but my advice would be to wait until this comes out on paperback.

Summary: Georgia's journals continue to entertain
Review: Another fun and quick read but with a wee bit more maturity from Georgia. It's been fun to watch her and her friends grow. The ending was a wonderful call back to the previous book. Near the end of the book I found the story dragging a bit but not to the point that I loss interest or wanted to put the book down.

Summary: Keeps Getting Better
Review: As an avid reader of the "Angus, Thongs" series, I feel that it gets better with each installment. As characters develop and things begin to change, so do the trials and tribulations of Georgia. She is definitely the epitomy of a typical teenager and I really enjoy being a spectator of her fictitious life. I also can relate to her very well. I have parents who are two of the most annoying people alive (for now, anyway), and siblings who never leave me alone. Although she complains a lot, it's actually quite fun to read about, since I probably do the same thing. I have read each book in this series at least 10 times and I never get bored. One thing that I don not advise: reading this out of the privacy of your own bedroom. At school I am known to burst into laughter at very random moments while reading this. Please, please, please read this book, and I absolutlely do not know how I am going to survive until March, when the next intallment, I'm Away Laughing on a Fast Camel, will be released. Enjoy!

Summary: Another hilarious book of "Even Further Confessions"
Review: Being a loyal fan of Georgia, I found myself excited and eager to dive into her funny world of snogging, ______-a-gogoland, and the ace gang. I found myself both entertained as well as empathetic to the "sex queen" through out the whole book.

Although it's been a while since the last book, I was shocked to find out how much of the story fit right back into place. Louise Renninson does a fantastic job at bringing the book back to the audience and it makes for a very nice and easy read.

Overall, this book is good, fun reading and it works best when read with the preceeding books. I recomend it for anyone who has a sence of humor and can laugh at a cute, dim-witted 15 year old sweetheart. Bravo!

Summary: A Fabbity Fab Fab Read!
Review: Dancing in My Nuddy Pants is the fourth chapter in the hilarious series of a crazy English teen, Georgia Nicholson. From experimenting with her school's awful berets once again, taking a weekend trip to Paris, choosing between the loves of her life and becoming a "pop star widow" this book keeps you laughing until the very end. I suggest any and all readers of this book do not read it in public; this is a laugh out loud funny book! Though the trials and tribulations of Georgia and the ace gang are just fabbity fab fab, it is not a good a book as its predecessors.
