Summary: This book is da BOMB!!!!!!!
Review: "Godzilla at world's end" is the best Godzilla book I've read. The battle with Anglias and Gigan is very blood-thirsty (I like that) and the ending was very well writtin. One last word: sure King Kong, Gamera, and Deanzilla are good, but Godzilla could whip all their butts..

Summary: Exciting! And I love that satirical wit!
Review: A review of this book posted on June 8, 1998, described this book as libertarian. The reviewer meant that as a criticism, but I would take that as a compliment! =) While I really enjoy Godzilla movies, I am usually annoyed by the way in which they negatively stereotype businessmen (in the forms of Mr. Tako, Jiro Torahatta, Mr. Okouchi, Takeshi Tomokane, etc.). Mr. Cerasini's ethical CEO character Mycroft E. Endicott was a refreshing change of pace. And the satires on Greenpeace are hilarious because they're so accurate!

Whoops! I don't want to give the reader the impression that this is a political book. The descriptions of military hardware are most impressive, and the characteristics of Manda, Megalon, Gigan, Biollante, Battra etc. are very true to the originals. I have to admit that, since I'm a very introverted person, I didn't care much for the author making a villain out of an introvert and outcast, but I don't think it detracts from the book too much. Anyway, this is a great read!

Summary: Maybe you just can't tell a good story with Megalon...
Review: After Godzilla Returns and Godzilla 2000, I couldn't wait to read Marc Cerasini's next Godzilla novel. Sadly, Godzilla at World's End is a disappointment. It starts off okay, introducing a group of distinctive young potential heroes, and a world still dealing with the aftermath of the monsters' rampage and King Ghidorah's attack from the previous book. Of course, the monsters (well, different ones this time) start attacking again, and this time there seems to be some motive behind their actions. Unfortunately, by the time we get to the end of the book, that motivation is still a mystery. We know who was behind everything, but if Cerasini explained why, I missed it. While the monsters seemed formidable when they initially attacked, they were dealt with far too quickly and easily to sustain suspense. It almost felt like Cerasini was indulging a fan's desire to put as many monsters in the story as possible, but forgot that he needed a story to sustain them. While the human characters were initially engaging, nothing was done to develop them. Relationships were set up that never went anywhere beyond an initial mention. Other relationships sprung up out of nowhere. And I'm still not sure what happened at the end of the book. Worst of all, Godzilla hardly made more than a cameo appearance! Maybe it's just the curse of Megalon, who appears in this book and starred in what is arguably the worst Godzilla movie of all. Although I did like the idea of a flock of Rodans flying around the US...

This book was a real letdown, especially compared with the earlier books in the series. Hopefully, the next one will be a little more focused and will get things back on track.

Summary: Too overwritten
Review: Godzilla at World's End was a disapointing reading expereince. Here the writer is trying to tell six or seven different stories at once and each one fails to capture the attention of the reader. Much like Godzila Returns, this book shows that a good Godzilla novel must be written only after the writer has thought up A GOOD/compleing story to tell. Godzilla vs the Robot Monsters was better.

Summary: Godawful
Review: I am a MAJOR Godzilla fan, so ofcourse when i saw this book ibought it. Ha! Marc Cerasini claims to be a big Godzilla fan, yet he is ruining the whole series with his horrible novels. First MAJOR mistake is his is mixing the Monster series with the Hensi series. Are we to believe that Megalon, the goofiest of the monster (not including Gabbera cause he was make believe in a childs dream) is in the same story as Biollante and Battra? I mean your mixing serious Godzilla with the goofy 70's Godzilla. If you were to take Biollante and Battra out mabey, MABEY this book might actully be worthy of having the title of Godzilla on the cover. Infact the cover is the only highlight of the book. I dont like how the new wave of Godzilla books are totaly destroying the Godzilla Series its self. I own ALOT of imported godzilla toys and posters, but ill never buy these American books agian. Shame on you Marc Cerasini. Dont buy this book if your a serious hardcore Godzilla Fan!

Summary: ONE OF THE BEST!
Review: I enjoyed reading the third book of the G-series. Cerasini has good knowledge of Godzilla. I like having more than a couple of monsters for Godzilla to fight. This is a pretty good read for people that aren't even a G-fan.

Summary: This is Marc Cerasini's best book yet.
Review: I hope Marc Cerasini is very proud of his book.I think that the best part is when the Destiny Explorer is attacked by Battra.I am looking forward to reading his next book,Godzilla and the Lost Continent.I am wondering what the new, monsterous threat could be?Maybe Space-Godzilla or the Destoyer.Anyway, he writes the best godzilla books I've ever read.He even inspired me to write my own books.

Summary: This book was VERY good
Review: I liked this book because I am a die-hard Godzilla fan. I loved the amount of monsters and I liked how the plot developed. This book was never really boring and I wanted there to be more of the book when it ended. This book should be good for anyone who likes monsters, Godzilla, or Science Fiction. This book was excellent!

Summary: Great for G lovers
Review: I loved it. It included some great monsters like Gigan, Megalon, Hedorah, and Biollante. I do like seeing Megalon and Gigan in serious roles because the old films made them to be mindless space monsters. I recommend it to any and all.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A great book!
Review: I thought this book was very good. The plot was well thought-out. The battle scenes were exciting and the characters were very realistic. This is a book definitely worth reading, and a must-have for G-fans.
