Rating: Summary: Excellent Read Review: This book is an excellent read (hence the title). It not only is fast-paced but is filled with action. It also shows the intelligence and planning side of the mission. However, read the first two novels in the series (Artemis Fowl, Artemis Fowl: The Arctic Incident), which are also great books. Being an adult level-reader, getting a break with this lighter read is what I enjoy.
Rating: Summary: Just when you thought that boy's got some heart Review: If you have been reading the series, you got a glimpse in "The Artic Incident" that Artemis might actually care. He just might not actually be ALL evil. In this novel, you find out, yep, he really does care. The book begins with Artemis finally meeting his match and Butler loosing his life. Artemis realizes his plans and scheming have gone too far and sorely regrets his mistakes. He now has to find a way to get the LEPrecons to help, but do they want to help him? Now, if you think I'm telling too much, well, read the book and you'll see I'm not evening chipping the ice burg.I love these books. The characters are extremely diverse and the story line is packed full with action and adventure. I would recomend them to everyone.
Rating: Summary: excellent Review: Colfer keeps the series going strong with this new addition. He easily sets the scene for a 4th book.
Rating: Summary: Better than book two, not as good as book one Review: Still, a solid entry into the series. I know Colfer had said it was to be a trilogy, but I hope that we haven't heard the last of Artemis Fowl, or the People. Like I said, better than book two, but not as good as book one.
Rating: Summary: Unpredicable and Thrilling Review: Artemis Fowl the eternity code is a compelx and thrilling adventure. Better than both the original and the sequeal, this triogly sends readers into an adventure which determinds the fate of the faries. Artemis's brain once again is set to work to save the day. Even the readers are fooled by his risky plan. Spirio, a Chicago bussiness man, steals an invention of Artemis's that can reveal the faries to the human world: the C cube. it's up to Artmeis and the faries to get it back. Butler, who is mortally wounded, cannot join this adventure, and is another thing Artemis must fight to save. readers are unable to put this book down, dying to see whether Artemis can fool this adept criminal bussiness man. as for parents, encourage your children to read this book. though it does involve gangsters, it gives them a view of the real world, increases their intelligence, shows that crime is treachorous and evil and entertains them all at once. this is definatily a book beyond books.
Rating: Summary: Hey, let's give Mulch some credit Review: I don't know what you all read, but Mulch-Diggums had me cracking up. I think he needs his own story. The C-cube was very intellegent had me thinking there may already be one on the market. I enjoyed all three books. I felt a little sad for Butler and I think his sister should have a book of her own as well as the fairy people. It's a book meant to entertain and that it did and does well.
Rating: Summary: great book...great series Review: Eoin Colfer has delivered yet again. Artemis Fowl has developed a revolutionary computer called the C-Cube. One day, he decides to show it to billionaire Jon Spiro at a London restaurant. All of a sudden, everything has gone wrong. Jon Spiro has outsmarted Artemis. Butler has been shot and is near death. The C Cube is in the hands of Jon Spiro. The C Cube is locked by an Eternity Code. It can only be cracked by Artemis. Inside it, Fairy secrets are held. Only one thing will save Butler and possibly get the C Cube back. Fairy technology. Along with Mulch Diggins, Holly is back to save Butler and save the People. Eoin Colfer has definitely delivered. This book has so many twists and turns that they are uncountable. The magical tales of Artemis Fowl are great and everyone should read them.
Rating: Summary: Artemis Fowl Eternity Code Review: If you are a fan of The Kingdoms and the Elves of the Reaches or not you will enjoy the Artemis books. This will entertain you and keep you turnign the pages fast! This story is original and futuristic. It makes you giggle and laugh. So read and enjoy!
Rating: Summary: The Eternity Code Review: I just finished this book and I thought it was a wonderful read for those kids who want excitement and an intellectually stimulating book. I am 13 and am taking advanced courses so my view is a a lot different from you adults, but it really was a great book. The technology is fun and I liked comparing Artemis to me, thinking about what I would do in his situation.
Rating: Summary: Excellent, but I want more. Review: This book is as good as all the better, if not better. However, it will make you want more. If you don't want a non-stop craving to get your hands on follow-up that's not going to come out, don't read this. Otherwise, enjoy the humor and action.
