Summary: One of my favorites, if not my favorite, book
Review: I loved this book so much. It was completely honest. I don'tagree at all those of you that are critizing the book and saying it isunrealistic. Charlie's sometimes scattered way of writing is wonderful because it is like exactly the thoughts as they happen in his head. I know, because when I write, it often comes out the same way. I felt like I understood everything that was being said; even if I haven't had those exact same experiences.

Summary: The best book ever written
Review: the perks of being a wallflower captures the essence of a generation. Some of the things Charlie goes through are a bit dramatic for a young teen but the feelings that float through his head are similar to the ones that i feel. i think this book is a must read for everyone who is going to be entering their freshman year in september.

Summary: Couldn't Put it Down!!
Review: This is bar none the greatest book I have ever read. The author's tone was very sincere in which a teenager, like myself, could understand very easily. I recomend this book to everyone who was, or is, a teenager and knows how it feels to grow up as one.

Summary: Awesome
Review: I really liked this book. It was in teresting to see how Charlie went throught the toils and tourtures of high school. He had to deal with most of the stuff that teens deal with today. The only thing that i would change about about this book was the authors language. He used shall we say adult langue that teenagers don't use. Overall this book was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: VERY, VERY POWERFUL
Review: What can I say? This is the best book that I have ever read, better than "Catcher In The Rye" in my opinion. The main character, Charlie, kind of reminds me of Homer from the book "The Human Comedy" (read it!) except wimpier. I think the wimpiness is a good thing for his characterization, contrary to what many of you think. The story is all the more powerful when you can identify with a character who actually CRIES sometimes. The thing that made this book so great was probably Charlie's sympathy for everything else. This book didn't just revolve around sports or sex (admit it, sex was only a small part). Being a 13-year-old, I know that most teenagers aren't so open about the things that Charlie writes about, which actually adds to the book's uniqueness and the fact that it is impossible to put down. If there was one thing I was disappointed in, it was the fact that Charlie was so perfect. I know some people would say he was disturbed, but he seemed really intelligent in a different way than people usually view intelligence. He never made any really big mistakes in the whole book (except for the scene where he kissed Sam instead of his girlfriend, but that was just him being honest). Wouldn't a normal teenager do SOMETHING that they later regret? Also, notice that Charlie never mentions feeling guilty or angry throughout the whole book, as far as I can remember. He is always just sad, which is kind of unrealistic. Another thing that could bring the reader down is that Charlie's friends are so perfect, and he gets to experience things like the "Rocky Horror Picture Show". What about all the teenagers who have no friends and are stuck in the house all day watching TV while the popular kids go to movies and parties?

Summary: I read this book in under a week
Review: I think that was a great book. One of the reviews said that it should have censored it but if it were censored then it wouldn't have seemed real. Censorship makes books fake. I really liked this book and would recommend it to anyone in high school..

Summary: Defintely Worthwhile
Review: I have just finished reading this intriguing novel. As many of said, this book had the potential to be the "Catcher in the Rye" of its generation. But its good, not great. I had a rough time following the main character, Charlie, I mean he goes back and forth between getting high and crying. He's imcredibly immature, and I doubt that many sixteen year old boys out there can relate to him in that sense. His constant whinning about his Aunt and Sam just got me annoyed. But there is good to it, the situations that Charlie encounters are indeed very logical. Chbosky created such vividly real characters like Sam and Patrick. They were the type of people you only wish you could have as friends. All in all, I believe that this book is defintely worth the reading time. It made you think of things in a different light as i would hope it would do to all other people. I would love to hear from anyone who read the book or anyone who has any suggestions in reading any other type of novel like this.
