Summary: An honest insight into teenage life
Review: Wow. That's all I can say. I connected with this book on so many levels. I'm currently a high school Senior and in many ways I wish my experiences could have been more like those of Charlie. And in some ways I've been through the exact same things as he. What I loved so much about Charlie's character is that he is so pure and real. He doesn't judge and is just such a caring and sensitive person. I was amazed at his comitment to help Patrick after his loosing Brad. It just touched me in ways I can't even describe. Mostly, I felt that Chbosky's characters were so real. I probably see dozens of people just like them every day at school. Moreover, the characters weren't just real, they were honest. They showed sides of themselves that I think all off us have and very often try to hide from the world. I think this reading experience has helped me to feel a little more normal, to know that I am not alone, and it will help me to be more honest with and true to myself.

Summary: Interesting and extemely thoughtfull
Review: I am not an emotional person, but this book brought back so many emotions from my childhood I had to put the book down many times to take an "emotional break".

It is a very truthful book and hit home with me! I have never heard of Chabosky, but the young mand does have a very bright future as an author!

Summary: My now favorite book
Review: I saw the ads for this book on MTV and it already looked good. I read it and was completely amazed. This was by far the best book I've ever read. I really felt what the people in this book were talking about and feeling. All the storylines were interesting, and I enjoyed them all.

Even though I don't do drugs or a lot of the other things the people in this book did, that doesn't mean it was bad. Reading this book was a pleasure and I personally cannot wait for Chbosky to write another book.

I saw a number of similarities between this book and Catcher in the Rye, except this book was better. My favorite part of the book was the Christmas party where they all passed out Secret Santa gifts. They were all close. It was a nice touch to the book. Also, the very end of the book was perfect. Stephen Chbosky did a wonderful job with this novel.

I would recommend the Perks of Being a Wallflower to anyone on the planet that likes to read good books because I truly believe everyone can relate to this book, its situations, and/or the characters in one way or another.

Summary: The Expression 'Real Life' Was Made For This Book
Review: The problem with most novels for teenagers is that the authors have no idea what it's like to be a teenager in today's world. Stephen Chbosky definitely does not have that problem. Not only is he exactly on target with every emotion and action his characters make, but he understands that sometimes putting them into words is less important than putting them into feelings. I reccommended this book to all of my friends, and bring it with me everywhere. Everyone sould receive a copy of this book on their fourteenth birthday. Living without it now seems impossible. Please buy it!

Summary: This is a book about the pain and happiness of growning up
Review: I am a 14 year old girl and this book i can relate to so much. I think every young adult could relate to it. I absolutly LOVE this book i re-read it whenever i can. and every time i read it i learn new lessons and i find new morrals. I think the author: Stephen Chbosky must have really felt everything he wrote in the book when he was growing up. Because everything he refers to and everything in this book and the way it is worded is the way every kid going through highschool feels like. All the pressure to do drugs or sex, sticking up for what you believe and still finding a place to fit in and be known so you arn't "that nobody" in school. I think this is an excelent book and i think every young adult should read it!

Summary: this book is my bible
Review: when i began reading the perks of being a wallflower, i had no idea what i was in for. i was more than pleasantly surprised. this book touched on every issue anyone has ever experienced in high school. but what made it so special was the author's ability to perfectly describe the emotions teens know so intricately: the excitement of going to a first party, the rush of a first kiss with someone, the perfection of a peaceful moment with close friends...

this book moved me. it changed the way i look at the world i live in and the people i interact with. what more can you ask for...

Summary: This book is the best teen book I've ever read!
Review: I thought this book was great! It had problems that were filled with suspense popping up where you least expect them. The book kept me on the edge of my seat and I couldn't put it down. It contained every day problems that occur in real life, which are my favorite kinds of books. I enjoyed the book so much that I gave a review for Amazon.com after I bought it! It was fantastic. I would recommend it to readers who like to be suspended. When some parts were happy and exciting, I laughed, cheered, and giggled and when some parts were really sad, I began to sob with Charlie. When some parts were scary, I screamed in my head and when some parts were relieving, I sighed. When some parts were least expected, I wondered. This book had a variety of emotions so I wouldn't get bored of the same thing. This was my favorite book, out of all four books.

Summary: It was very different..... wonderfully different.
Review: When I took this book out of the library, I wasn't expecting to read the best book I have ever read in my life later that day. It is so true, down to earth and very well written. I am very interested in the MTV fiction contest winners books. I am in the middle of Floating, which is going to make my top ten fav list. The Perks of Being A Wallflower is a story about the others, the people that most of us in High School are, and I think the people who aren't that popular in school should read this, just to read a book that they can relate to, and I think that the "popular" crowd should read this book, just so they know, or can get a clue of how it feels to be..... unpopular, if that big of a word is in their vocabulary. So in closing, I would like to say, Read this book!

Summary: a must read
Review: The Perks of Being a Wallflower was an amazing book. It was blunt and honest, and didn't sugarcoat the naked truth. Another thing that I liked about it was the fact that you could really see how Charlie matured from boy in his first letter, to man in his last one.
