Summary: An average read, Sweet Valley style
Review: First off, this is an all right book, not that bad, but then again not the best either. I did like the Elizabeth/Jeffery vs the Bumblings of Jessica problem; it seemed like poor Jess could do nothing right in this novel. However, the book hit a sour note with me during Elizabeth's dream sequence when she thinks that her sister is dead. I knew right off something was up when the author says, "Everyone in school was shocked," and then moved on. If this was real all SV fans would know that it would have dragged out to three novels at least! So when it didn't go really in depth about Jessica's supposed demise that kind of tipped it off for me. However, this is a nice piece of mental cotton candy, especially old-school Sweet Valley fans who were around when SVH and SVT were the only ones. Somehow Jr. High and University doesn't float my boat.

Summary: Pretty good
Review: I like the book a lot. The only thing I don't think is that good is Liz completely falling apart. In most of the Super Editions, it's always Liz who gets all the problems!!! Also, Jessica doesn't really seem to care that much about Elizabeth!! Maybe some people might think the book is great but I don't really think this book is a sucess

Summary: Not the Best....
Review: I love SVH, SVH Senior Year, and SVU, but this is probably one of those rough patches in the series. Sure, the begining is great (with the exception of how selfish Jess is being- if I were Liz, I'd totally slap her!), but the whold Jess dying thing is super annoying. I mean, c'mon, it would be far more dramatic if a mojor charater were going to die, not announced in the middle of a chapte rtowards the end. Still, the end, when they are actually AT the winter carnival ALMOST makes up for that. (P.S. THERE ARE MUCH BETTER SV SUPER EDITIONS OUT THERE! DON'T LET THIS ONE FOOL YOU!)

Summary: A MUST READ!
Review: I loved this book. It has a spell curled around it to make you keep reading it. On a rainy day, you can stay curled up on a chair and read this book for the entire day. Again and again. I just love the idea of Elizabeth thinking Jessica's stolen her boyfriend again. Jeffrey, in my point of view, is a rather stuck up pig. Jessica's sisterly in that book. A definite best!!

Summary: The lamest sweet valley book I've ever read
Review: ok, why is it lame? first, Jess and Liz are not getting together well throughout the book when the story is supposed to be about the 'Winter Carnival'. The winter carnival was only mentioned at the start and at the end of the book! To top it off, there is a mistake in the book-the part where Todd and Jeff have first met there when at Elizabeth's Secret Diary Vol. 2 it was mentioned the 'first' time they've met is at Winston's party-a welcome back party for Todd when Todd moved back to Sweet valley from Vermont. It just doesn't make any sense.

Summary: What the..?
Review: The title -Winter Carnival- sounded magical, and the story did start off OK as well as the fact that the very last scene -the winter ball- was enchanting. But!It just all goes down hill when Jessica dies.
