Summary: not instructional
Review: My daughter is being taught from this book. It has no instructions in it what so ever. When she brings it home for homework and unless you know algebra already it is totally useless. It is the most confusing book to work from. Some of the stories in it are not even relevant to the problem or the answers, which make it totally confusing for the student. My recomendation is not to purchase this book and if you school is using it, GO IMMEDIATELY TO THE SCHOOL BOARD AND DON'T TURN BACK!!

Summary: Horrible
Review: This is the most horrible book for teaching math I have ever seen! It is totally without any merit as a reference for the children to follow when trying to work at home and relies heavily on teachers knowing the subject and being able to teach it to ALL students. There are NO building blocks much less any explainations as to what the kids are supposed to be learning in it or how to even perform any of the requested tasks. I do not recommend this book for ANY school.
