Rating: Summary: I'll Be Seeing You Review: I'll be Seeing You is a great book to read. It was a very exciting story that led to a great ending that had a little bit of romance. This book is especially great for students because it tells about the feelings of an unfortunate girl who is scared for life. It is more-or-less a life lesson to its readers. It enables the reader to know what it is like to be singled out by a crowd and made fun of for something uncontrollable. The main character, Carley, learns early on in her life that the world is not always fair and that there will always be people there to make a bad situation worse. However, Carley works through everything that comes her way by using humor to deal with things. This book also mimics the actions of teens in our society. Teens are constantly picking on people who are different from them. In schools, this happens and the students often do not realize what they are doing is hurting someone else. This book is very touching and I would recommend it to people of all ages.
Rating: Summary: One of the best books I've ever read! Review: I'll Be Seeing You is one of the greatest books I've ever read! It not only was a great book but it had a good moral to it. It doesn't matter what you look like on the outside, God looks at the heart--it's what's inside that counts. I think all her books are great and I would really recommend her books to anyone and everyone!
Rating: Summary: This book was one of the best books I've ever read. Review: I'll Be Seeing You Lurlene McDaniel
"After I'm out of the hospital he'll want to have nothing to do with me..." That's exactly what Carly Mattea, a young 16 year old girl, thought. She had been admitted into the hospital with a broken leg that needed sugery. Carly meets a boy, (who can't see for the time being), her age and falls in love. Little does he know that when Carly was young which left one side of her face deformed. Carly thought that as soon as she got out of the hospital Kyle Westin would want to have nothing to do with her. Now that she's out of the hospital and he can see again Kyle wants to meet her.
This book pulls you in and makes you want to keep reading. Lurlene McDaniel, the author, hits you with a surprise ending! To find out what happens with Carley and Kyle...you'll have to read the book for yourself. I recommend this book to anyone who likes interesting stories that make you want to read more.

I am now in 9th grade and have read it at least 10 times. Even though I know how the story goes I go back and read it again and again. If you are a hopeless Romantic like me this is the perfect book for you. It made me laugh, cry, and even both at the same time. I advise anyone who reads this to go out and buy this book ASAP and read it and you will see what I mean.

Rating: Summary: A terrific Book Review: The best part of this book is the message that looks don't always matter. Carley coped with her apperance with a sweet sense of humor. A really cool romance book.
Rating: Summary: I'll be seeing You Review: The book "I'll Be Seeing You" by Lurlene McDaniel is heartwarming and very sad. This story makes you think about who you are on the inside and how not all people judge you on the way you look. Although not very exciting or dramatic it still makes you want to jump in the scenes and be there for the characters. It was a very tramatic book and I look forward to reading more of Lurlene McDaniel's novels.
Rating: Summary: This book made me think.... Review: The book is so funny and charming and touching at the same time, too. Carley Mattea had cancer when she was young and was fully treated but it had left her a half-faced scar. The left side of her face was scarred badly. She met Kyle Westin in the hospital while she was there to treat her broken and infected ankle (she got rollerblade for Christmas and decided to tested out). Handsome, 17 year-old Kyle was blinded by a chemistry experiment and he wasn't very happy when he becomes blind (can't blame him). He was very down and Carley, who was his next-door neighbor, befriended with him and made him feel better by telling jokes. Since he couldn't see her scarred face, she wasn't conscious of her face and she fell in love with him. But when she found out Kyle might see again, she couldn't let him see her so tried every way to prevent him seeing her. This book made me think. Well, a lot of Lurlene McDaniel's books made me think, but especially this one cuz I guess it's about appearance. I have a zit and I freak out like it's the end of the world but compared to Carley's situation, I feel blessed. So I thought this book deserved an A+
