Review: i loved this book! it's the first book i got from l. j. smith even though i've heard about the vampire diaries. READ THIS BOOK. its about five psychics invited to a place called "the Institute". it seems all right. at first. next thing they know,they're running for their lives. the best book ever. I LOVE GABRIEL! i think he's the best character in the book. i think the ending is great, but i wont spoil it for u. just get the book, i promise you'll like it.

Summary: The cover alone attracted my attention.
Review: I never thought that young adult books could be this interesting. I had never heard of this authur before until recently and I think that I found the pot of gold. I was in the book store and saw this book. Picked it up and thought that the subject seemed pretty catchy and thought it might be good to read. Boy was I in for a ride, the plot was just absolutely well thought out and the way the characters were connected, was just brilliant. I couldn't put it down. I read the whole book in a couple of days. That's how good it is. This one just topped the cake. It has been one of the best books that I have read so far.

Summary: *Night World* Warm-Up
Review: I thought that *Visions* is like a warm-up for *Night World*. It was really cool. I love Gabriel, of course, and how Kait chose "dark" over "light". I love *Night World* because the "darker" characters are depicted so well.

Summary: A wonderful real life like story.
Review: I've never heard of the arthur, and not much of a reader too, but once I read the first chapter I can't stop. Things started to get more and more interesting, it was just wonderful. The story sounds logical, as if it's real and it's not like any fantasy story books about ghosts and magics, etc. This book deserves more than 5 stars. It's nothing like anything I've read in my life before, and this book kept me awake all night. I just can't stop it... it's something about the story line, not just the how it is written. It is the adventure that you see in your mind when you imagine the story. It's wonderful.

Review: It's a good thing I bought the Collector's Edition instead of the separetely. I finished the entire trilogy in one night. That's how good it was. Kaitlyn Fairchild is an outcast who has witch eyes and a strange psychic power. When she is chosen along with four other students to go to an institute in exchange for a college scholarship, she accepts. Once there she meets Anna, Lewis, Rob, and Gabriel, four other psychically gifted students. It's then that they realize the Institute is not all that it's cracked up to be. My personal favorite in the book was Gabriel. Dark Visions is a great trilogy to read and reread.

Review: These three books are some of LJ Smith's best work! The characters are great and the idea is fantastic! My favorite character is Anna, I think her powers over animals is awsome.

Summary: I didn't know God himself wrote books!
Review: This book is by FAR my favorite book of all time. Kaitlyn Fairchild is my new favorite female character. Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings... Yeah, they don't hold a candle to L.J. Smith's Dark Visions Collector's Edition.
Personally, I am AMAZED that this book doesn't get more recognition than it currently does. I would enjoy it more than life itself if this book became a movie. I'm actually telling all my friends about it.
I am not much of a reader... at all... But this book... This book made me cry, made me laugh, made me think hard on certain subjects... everything. I loaned my copy to a friend in hopes of getting her hooked on it too.
I have read and re-read this book, time and time again, for years. It never gets old. Smith's vivid descriptions of surroundings and characteristics give me a good mental image of all her characters.
I am seriously thinking about getting her other books. In fact, I will.
Read this book. If you think you knew what a good book is... you haven't read anything until you read this.

Review: This book was so good! I am so glad i bought the collector's edition, with all the books together! i couldn't put it down! I read all like 700 pgs. in 2 days! You can't resist falling in love with Gabriel's dark personality! I definitely recommend this book to all other L.J. Smith fans out there! Or just all readers in general! It's a great book!
