Review: I can't tell you what this book did for me not only as far as my confidence with women goes, but also for my mental state of mind with women. Bob Lott carefully articulates his methods for making the unattainable seem attainable. I also like his "enlargement and lengthening" exercises, if you know what I mean! All in all, this is a useful manual for those in the world of single dating. If you're skeptical of these kinds of books, you should still try it, because it is different, and is practical. And you can tell that Bob Lott has a lot of experience. This is a must buy book!

Review: This is a fine book that was enable to enhance me to pick up confidence in myself to date women. Like Bob Lot said in his comments I am not endowed externally but I do have a heart of gold. Only I was never able to show this to woman. One of my Sergeants gave me this book as a Yom Kipper gift because he always saw me with either unattracitve women or no women at all, usually the latter. What this book did, however, was give me the confidence to go out and meet beautiful women and show them what I had inside mattered more than what I had outside. Dating is like war, and I now have the tactics of excellence to go out and mee the woman of my dreams thanks to Bob Lot.

Review: I bought this book because I had the good fortune to be in a relationship with "a beautiful woman" for over a year. Due to career conflicts we ended it, but parted friends. Naturally, I wanted to see what I did right, and more importantly wrong, at least according to the author. Unfortunately, there's no significant insight in this work, at least none that would substantiate why a "beautiful woman" is different from any other woman. These items are typical of the advice offered:
1- Be yourself 2- Be confident 3- Discover her interests and accommodate them whenever possible
I'm by no stretch of the imagination a ladies man, but this is high-school dating advice, isn't it? The text itself is also this simplistic; transcribed and edited notes is the impression the prose gave me. Nonetheless, the book is not totally without value: the section on why one should NEVER attempt to meet women at bars and especially nightclubs was the rare insightful chapter. This book's topic is better covered by other "psychology of dating" works available.

Review: From the editorial comments above, this book sounded like a really amazing book. I admit I was intrigued. But after a very quick reading (minimal insights, and no exercises), my conclusion is that the substance is just not there. With what seemed promised by the editorial, I thought this book would go through, step-by-step, HOW to accomplish the desired end-product, but instead gives a lot of common knowledge information and uses analogies which tend to confuse rather than clarify. It's a sort of romantic read...the analogies ARE quite poetic, but I expected more...perhaps something with real, tangible exercises that would actually get you MOVING in the direction that it talks about, and talks about, and talks about... I also didn't appreciate the referalls to get psychiatric help...not the help I was looking for in this book....

The material will be a great wake up call for those that are frustrated with the dating game and unsure about their personal dating skills. The book is based on proven facts and truths, not opinions. I truly feel that if one applies what they've read in this book and acts on faith, they will meet the person of their dreams. I wish everyone who reads this book the best of success. Because I commend them for taking the steps necessary to improve their lives and their pursuit for happiness.
