Rating: Summary: A Struggle to over come Review: "Why I Kept My Past A Secret" by Teresa Browning is a powerful testament of faith. It reveals some ugly truths of life and speaks to the power of persevering in the midst of adversity. Browning reveals hidden lessons about betrayal, family violence, addictions, personal tragedies, and about a young woman's desire for friendship and love. The story runs deeper than passion of sex. It is more than a mere single mother's story of struggles and hardships It is a journey to overcome.............
Rating: Summary: 4 Stars! Review: Great first book for Ms Browning. Her characters really come alive. I think, I may have grown up with a few of them. I highly recommend this book.
Rating: Summary: Couldn't Put It Down Review: I began to read the book and found myself not wanting to put it down. It was real and down to earth. Touched on what women go through when trying to live their lives in a man's world. You're good enough to lay with, but not to marry. Left me wanting more. I can't wait for the second book.
Rating: Summary: Feel the Pain Review: I enjoyed reading this book. Teresa Browning writes in an easy to read style. Once into the story, this is a difficult book to put down. Ms. Browning's graphic depiction of the main character Rhonda, is sometimes shocking and takes the reader along on Rhonda's journey of shocking misfortunes, painfully foolish choices, and often brutal consequences throughout her young adult life. This is not a fairy tale read. A true to life book from beginning to ending. An educational read for young women.
Rating: Summary: A must read. Review: I read this book in a day and a half, once I started I could not put it down. This book is a true example of the old saying, "you never miss what you have until it's gone." Ryan thought that he could speak to Ronda in a negative manner and she would accept it, I am glad Ronda realized she deserved better. The author did an excellent job of explaining why Ronda did the things she did as a mother first and a woman second. A lot of women would say I wouldn't take that off of him but you can never say what you would or wouldn't do, until you are in the situation. I was glad that Ronda was strong enough to leave Ryan and not go back. I am looking forward to a sequel. Ronda was indeed a srong woman.

Rating: Summary: Why I kept My Past A Secret Review: I really enjoyed the book. The author gave excellent details about Ronda's life. I felt like I knew Ronda and was experiencing everything that she was going through. The story made me want more and I was disappointed that the story was short. I hope there is a continuation of the story.
Rating: Summary: How one can over come Review: I want to say I really really enjoyed the book. The book was so real. I have a grandmother who has some of the same views as Ronda's granny. I hope and pray that there will be more for Ronda to come. I can't wait!! until the sequel comes out. I loved the book. I'm reading the book right now for the second time!!
Rating: Summary: Unspeakable Reality Review: Oh my God...I did not know all this could happen to one woman and she still remains "sane"...but with God in your life we can do all things...I felt what Rhonda went through, and wanted to cry, laugh, shout, and all the emotions that came with her. Knowing the author, I never knew things could happen like that. I am so proud of you Teresa!!! I love you and keep up the good work. ...
