Summary: College Girls, a wonderful start to a whole new series!
Review: As soon as I read the first few pages, I was hooked. The author knows how to captivate the reader. This is a very good description of college life, plenty of changes and new experiences. I was excited about Jessica and Elizabeth going to college, sad about Elizabeth and Todd breaking, and amused when Winston was put in an all-girl dorm. I would recommend this book to anyone over 12!!.

Summary: A new start to a new life...
Review: Elizabeth is upset because her best friend, Enid, has become popular Alexandra and she and Todd are drifting apart. This book really made me cry as it is really upsetting. However, it has a humorous part. The part is when Winston Egbert gets to live with a group of girls at Oakley Hall. Jessica had a really good start to college life. Those who haven't read this book really must read it!

Summary: Francine Pascals Done It Again
Review: I like this book a lot, it was fun fast read. I grew up on Sweet Valley High. The fact that they have a College series now makes me feel a little old. But its a good one, read it in a day.

Summary: Very emotional... Made me think about things
Review: I read this book in a couple of hours, and now I've read it over and over again. I enjoyed it- it really made my emotions come out. I was sooo mad at Celine I almost screamed (and sometimes laughed), and I was angry with Jessica and Todd for the way they treated Elizabeth, and I was irritated with Enid- or should I say Alex. My heart went totally out for Liz. Never before has her life been like this- but in a way it was the thing that made me read this book again and again. I've been lonely, I know what it is like. Loneliness was pictured very well in this book.

Summary: Poor Liz..
Review: I really liked the way the book managed to convey Liz's feelings about moving away and starting over at University. I didn't like the fact that Jessica was acting inconsiderate, I mean I know she can be a bit rude but, it was nasty of her to move in with Isabella rather than stay with her own sister. It also annoyed me that Enid felt the need to change her name just so that she could be 'cool'. I think she was pretty ungrateful to Liz after all Liz had done for her during her time at SVH. If you ask me, Liz is better off without her anyway. Todd just irritated me, and I was so glad to see the arrival of sexy Tom Watts. I loved the chemistry between him and Liz - they definitely make a great team. Todd deserves airhead Lauren. Liz's roommate Celine is so funny, I loved her 'drama queen' persona. But, I have to admit that if I lived with her, I probably would have strangled her. Alison Quinn is also irritating as well - snobby witch. You just know that she's out to make trouble for the Wakefields - especially Jess. I was disappointed to see that some of my favourite characters were missing but, I'm sure they'll soon turn up at some point or other in the series. I highly reccommend this series. I also agree with the other girl, those 'twins' on the covers just look funny. Ha,ha - I love their dress sense! NOT.

Review: I think this book really shows how some people really feel about going into college.

Summary: Somewhat real...
Review: I thought some parts of the book were realistic, like when the twins were actually leaving for college, their mom cries. But some parts, like them & most of their classmates winding up at a Sweet Valley University is a bit too coincidental. I could see maybe the twins & one or two of their former classmates, but it was almost as if most of SVH was transplanted to SVU. I would have had their friends go to different colleges, like Arizona or New York & flashed to different scenes. Maybe I would have had the twins themselves go to college in San Francisco or Arizona. But all in all, the college scenes were realistic with all the excitement of starting life on their own. I could identify with the thrill of a new independence that the twins felt because I felt the same way once I became an adult & moved out of my parents' house. It was kind of amusing how Jessica thought that college life would be all parties, guys, "glamourous" sororities, & fun. She even hooks up with Isabella because Isabella is fashionable & "sophisticated" & that's COOL in Jessica's book. It was kind of too bad that two of Liz's friends Enid & Todd acted like idiots & basically abandoned her. I kind of miss the old Enid; I could see her trying new things, but she didn't have to abandon Liz & ridicule her. I'm glad Liz eventually befriended Nina. But their struggle to find their places was real as well as having to cope with rotten roommates. (Liz gets stuck with dumb Celine).
