Review: Peg Kehret is such a good writer. Readers will empathize with Alex having to fit in to a new community. He wants and needs a friend so badly. The voice of Pete the cat is a nice touch. He is one savy, smart feline. In this book Kehret combines two things that kids love: mysteries and cats. This is a fun and exciting read.
