Rating: Summary: "Addictive" Review: "Oh wad some power the giftie gie us. To see ourselves as other see us!"Possibly one of the last Great Sleator Books, "Other See Us" takes us for a journey into the minds of others. This is an amazing story of seeing how other people see things and who and what they are inside. Once again Great 1st person use. Sleator draws you into the story until you realize you are the story. You empathize so much with the character that this could easily be happening to you. This in my opinion is one of Sleator's greatest skills, to make his characters utterly realistic. Never before have I experienced real people in circumstances like these. It's Awsome. A final not I sometimes forget to add to my Sleator reviews. Do not be fooled into thinking his books are JUST for young people. I've read ideas and concepts in his booksthat I wouldn't see in any Koontz or King Anyway add this to your list of must have Sleators.

Rating: Summary: A Mind Read Review: Did you ever wonder if that pretty 13 year old girl was thinking about you while you were thinking about her? When 14 year old Jared falls from his bike into a swamp near his family's summer home, he discovers that he can read minds, and is able to tell how others see him, which is not always a good thing. Do you want to know that somebody thinks you never wash your face and that you act imbelcilic? Jared doesn't either. But Jared also learns why how somebody is breaking ATM codes around town, a feat possible if you can read minds. But if Jared isn't sneaking into people's minds and stealing their access codes then who is? Can somebody else read minds? Does somebody else know that Jared can read minds too? Others See Us is a story about the responsibility that comes with great power. Its a fun and fascinating read. William Sleator must have read my mind before he wrote this, because this is the kind of book I wanted to read
Rating: Summary: ...fascinating... Review: First of all, because I am of the age group that this book was intended for, I feel that my review should be read carefully, and with an open mind. I found the book, "Others See Us", to be quite fascinating. The plot was well written, and it captured my attention throughout the book. As a result, it was very thought-provoking. I would highly reccomend it as an exciting adventure into the world of science fiction.
Rating: Summary: great book Review: I picked up this book because I had to read for school. Two pages into it and I was hooked. You'll like the main character Jared and love the grandmother. You'll hate the bad guy and won't be dissapointed in the ending (unless you like sad endings). If you like sci-fi and good vs. evil--this book of psychic abilities is definitley for you. I would say more about the story line but I was suprised when I read the real twist in the book and I liked it. One word--diary. Read this book for the diary section. You'll know. I loved reading this book and didn't want to put it down. I'm definitley going to buy more of Sleator's books. Peace.

Rating: Summary: This book is fast-pace, and exciting!!! Review: I read this book and I was amazed at how a book could hold such an amazing power over you. After the first 3 sentances, I got hooked on the fantasies, romance, and excitement. I deffanately recomend this book! It's top-notch!!! My favorite spot, is the most romantic, when Annelise(Jared's cousin) and Jared hold hands in the sand while they were waching fireworks.
Rating: Summary: Boy, Grandma, and Cousin become mindreaders. Review: I really liked this book. I'm not even a really big book reader but, this book was awesome. I thought this book was a very different book. I had never read a book that had to do with ESP or Mind-reading. I also thought this book was exciting, entertianing, and interesting. If you are a reader or even if you are not I would suggest you read this great book by William Sleator, I couldn't put it down.
