Rating: Summary: It's a bit advanced Review: I used it after practicing with more basic material, and found it to be quite useful, especially when it came to the more unusual--and thus more difficult--problems. Most of the problems are a bit on the tough side, so don't buy this book if you're just starting your review. I tried Kaplan's SAT 1600 and found it to be on a somewhat lower level than this book. It might be a good idea to start with Kaplan, and then go with Brainiacs.
Rating: Summary: Don't be a brainiac! Review: This text was so convoluted that even a "Brainiac" would have gotten lost in all the useless tips. Alot of typos, vaguely worded questions, and simple material litter the text making it difficult to undestand what the author, or publisher, had in mind when they released this scatterbox onto the public. I wouldn't be suprised to hear a testimonial of how a testaker's score went down after reading this triumph into study aid debauchery. Don't get taken by this half-hearted attempt to cash in on student's anxieties. Get Kaplan's 1600 instead.
