Summary: An enthralling, up-to-date story of a major disaster
Review: If you're looking for disaster, love, personal growth and even some violence, this is the book for you. Nyle and Ezra are centered upon a well-developed plot, rotating around small side plots/problems. A ENJOYABLE BOOK FOR ALL!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: As powerful as The Music of Dolphins
Review: When I read the Music of Dolphins, I was eager to read more of Karen Hesse's books. Phoenix Rising certainly met my expectations. Nyle and Ezra are wonderful characters to realate to: two typical teenagers in a scary situation. This book will powerfully draw you into its spell.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: My favorite book, I can read it over and over.
Review: I loved this book. I first read it when I was 12 I continue to read it, whenever I get a chance. Everytime I cry, Karen Hesse makes it all apply to real life. The fact that this is a possibility for all of us is scary.

Summary: Sad but riveting.
Review: It shows how people die of mysterious diseases. Ezra and Nyle get along so well toward the end that it is so sad to think of Ezra as dead.

Summary: This is my favorite book
Review: This is my favorite book. Karen Hesse is a powerful writer, and she knows how to touch people with her writing. Every time I read it, I cry. It just reaches out and grabs you. She has also written another book, that also touched me, "Letters from Rifka". I would definatly recommend either or both of these books to anyone who really liked to read.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful
Review: Well, here's a book that can make you tear up. I cried forever when I read it, just like I did when I read 'Music of the Dolphins.' I read this last year, in grade five, and I wish it hadn't been a copy on loan that I had read, but my own. It isn't every day I get a good cry out of a book, and I swear, that one'll get you every time.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Ok, but not wonderful
Review: This book makes you think, but I wouldn't recommend it, it is too sad.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: 2 THUMBS UP!!!!!!!!!!
Review: NYLE'S TRAGEDY IS SO REAL THAT I CRIED. (A LOT!!!!) HOWEVER, SHE SHOWS US THAT LIFE DOES GO ON. KEEP ON WRITING 'EM AUNT KAREN!!!!!!
