Summary: Opens Up Lines of Communication
Review: Bet is a great young author who I hope to see more from. The book is one of the few that depict real life, and not a bubblegum fantasy world. The collected stories at the end may help you realize that you are not the only one.

This book is not that expensive, so please buy it and read it.

Summary: Opens Up Lines of Communication
Review: One Dream and Collected Stories opened my eyes to the extent that alcohol is embedded in our society. After reading it I bought copies for all the schools in my area. It shows us, in true stories, what our teens go through and the novel is an outstanding read. It's dramatic, it's compelling, it makes you feel emotions that most of us hide away. It all is very real and I think will help us understand more about the problems we have with substance abuse in our own home towns.

IT ALSO HEALS. I came from an alcoholic family, reading the novel and true stories has made me understand more of my past, I feel I have friends out there that put together this book to help heal so many wounds that many people have. In the novel a young man has to make it in the world surrounded by people that want to bring him into their world of substance abuse. That scenario happens every day and I think if people read this book maybe they won't feel tempted and give into the pressures that make us do things that we don't believe in.

I gave the book to my daughter, she read it in a night and the next day told me true stories of what is happening at her school. This book opens up lines of communication. Now I'm closer to my teenage daughter.

Thank you for One Dream & Collected Stories.
