Summary: Very well written, a complete guide
Review: This fall I am going to be a sophomore and I will be taking my PSAT's in October . I was very nervous about which book I should buy, Up Your Score 1999-2000 was written by teenagers like us ! Three of them aced the test and the others scored above 1500. They know the tensions that arise when it comes to doing your best. This book is filled with humor and sarcasim , as well as enough information to help you through the test. I love it , it's totally worth the money , and the best part is it's the best $10.00 you'll spend

Summary: Most readable SAT book we've reviewed
Review: This guerilla guide was written by students for students. It is witty and definitely packed with strategies to increase your score. We have received a lot of good feedback from clients on this book and we have been told on numerous occasions that this guide is the most readable SAT preparation guide on the market. We ourselves were pleasantly surprised at the helpfulness of many of its tips such as concentration improvement and relaxation techniques.

Summary: Terrific Book
Review: This is a great book for SAT prep. One of the most important things here is their tips for guessing, something no one else gives. This book is also pretty amusing - something that can't really be said about other SAT prep books. One thing that is not mentioned in reviews of previous versions of the book is the vocab. 600 words with easy to remember defintions. The only thing this book is missing is practice questions. Even though they say it's because they don't want to give bad questions, it's still missing.

All in all - it's a great book. Buy This Book!

Summary: GREAT STUDENT GUIDE FOR THE SAT!!!
Review: This is a great SAT prep book. From hints to lessons, for Vocab to Math to the SAT II Writing test, this book has it all. It even teaches you how to think like the SAT! A must read for all SAT-takers! Only problem is the Math section is less thorough than the Verbal section. But overall a great study guide

Summary: Awesome
Review: This SAT book is actually enjoyable to read. It's created for teens by (former) teens. The vocab section gives a really accurate list of those words appearing on the SAT's and the jokes and comics gives actually help remembering the words. This book contains mostly tricks, study tips, and misc. things (like SAT biases, dealing with a bad proctor etc.).

You will still need to buy some more books (like the NEW SAT Study Guide), but this gives a balance of tips and tricks and good ol' studying.

Summary: This book is a fun study guide to the dreaded SATs!
Review: Until I read Up Your Score, I dreaded studying for the SATs. This book actually made it fun, and was very helpful. It mixed in basic knowledge needed for taking the SATs, as well as fun and innovative tips that you can only find in this book. I highly reccomend it to anyone who is planning on taking the SATs.

Summary: Very good SAT book.
Review: Up Your Score is for anyone taking the SAT. Instead of providing with many practice questions, it teaches you tips and tricks of how to tackle each type of them. I recommend reading this book before you begin practicing with sample tests. It will help you a lot in strategies and answering.

Summary: This is my manifesto
Review: Very nice book! This book is a very concentrated book which takes strategies from all the current SAT/PSAT courses out there and binds it into one book! Very very nice for any student who wants to master the SAT! I personally raised my score 140 points after I read this book. I have have taken Kaplan, Princeton and Score Prep and this has all their strategies and more. What I loved about this book was the fact people not that much older than me wrote it and could relate to me. Very funny boook. I laughed my way to a 140 points and anybody else can do the absolute same.

Summary: funny but..
Review: yes it is funny but I mean is that what you really care about? The SAT is a drag and although this book might entertain you it will not help you prepare. To prepare buy Barrons, 10 Reals and a math workbook and STUDY. It will be boring but well worth the results. DO NOT buy this book.
