Rating: Summary: Sweet and Simple Review: Craig Miller is a serious hardworking guy who doesn't usually let girls distract him. But schools let out and Craig heads to Lenape Beach to stay with his carefree older brother to not relax, but find a job and help out with college suspences. Craig seems to be the only responsible one in his family for his parents are in financial difficulty and his brother is on the verge of flunking out of college. The last thing Craig needs is a girl to get in the way. Jill is the master of playing the feild and looks at the summer as a total dating oppurtunity. When Craig helps Jill out at a Pizza restaurant he gets swepped away by her beauty and they agree to see eachother again. Jill is thinking that this is just another fling and she's just looking at a couple dates, but Craig's determination and strength in everything he does catches her by surprise. Meanwhile Craig is falling hopelessly in love with her. Is playgirl Jill Gerston finally falling in love? Will she admit it to feelings and finally have a serious relationshipin time or will Craig have moved on now once he figures out Jill's love gameing past? I thought this book was pretty good. Although this is a well known theme about opposites attract it put a smile on my face. If you're looking for a book that doesn't have a lot of depth and emotions than I highly recomend this book to you. It's sweet and simple.
Rating: Summary: OK Review: I didnt really enjoy the book , it was rather stupid to be honest . Its basically na episode out of the life ofJessica Wakefied nothing new or original . U cant really ask for originalty in Love Story books but this book was just ( I cant find the word ) ohyeh BORING . As hard as Itried I cudnt find myself caring abt the charecters , it didnt matter if they got together or not . So my advice read the book but dont expect too much out of it .
Rating: Summary: This was a good book! Review: I read this book, He's The One, by Nina Alexander and thought it was very good. I would rate it as a 3 star book. It was interesting and held my attention well. This is the reason that I stuck with it and read the whole book. It was about a girl who enjoyed dating a lot of guys until she met the one boy who she fell in love with. Then she realized that she only wanted to be with him, and not him along with 10 other guys. I liked the plot of it being on the beach. And I liked the ending because it was happy. However, I've read even better books of this kind so that is why I gave it a 3 star. But I liked it because I like sappy love stories like that one!
Rating: Summary: How cute!!! Review: I thought this book was okay, that I gave it 4 ****. All I can say that this book is unpredictable and I can't put the book down. Craig (main male character) is different from Jill. He's serious about life and...wants to make sure he accomplished his goals. While Jill, she always want to have fun and date, like 2 guys at the same time. If you really know about Sweet Valley High series, Jill will (hey, that rhymes! :) reminds you of Jessica Wakefield. It's weird that Craig and Jill are in love with each other. I guess it's true: opposites attract.
Rating: Summary: Playgirl meets her match. Review: What I liked best about this story was that it was told by two people---Jill and Craig. They couldn't be more different. Jill loves flirting and partying while Craig wants to be practical and serious. It's a pretty good story, but not totally original.
