Rating: Summary: Great like the game maybe even better Review: This book was great very good detail and its a book with non violent aliens just like the game made by Lucas Arts
Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: this book was pretty good. I liked the point at the end. Like, I would rather just be physical than be a thought. Experience is everything! Overall the book faired good--except for the love-dovy at the end..that kind of spoiled the whole dramtics. 4 stars from me!
Rating: Summary: Great Review: This book was really the first science fiction novel I've read. It was great. I wish it would have been longer. Maybe it could have shown them exploring the other continents to see how their cities were constructed. It ended to soon. I think this novel will encourage me to explore more science fiction titles.
Rating: Summary: The Dig Review: This was a great book. Filled with suspense on on the edge of your seat action. I recommend this book to all science fiction fans. I belive it has more factuality than other ALien Encounter books.

Rating: Summary: "An Imaginative Tale" Review: When an asteroid threatens the Earth, NASA launches a shuttle mission to nuke the big rock into a stable orbit. The operation goes smoothly. But when Cmdr. Boston Low, scientist Ludger Brink & TV reporter Maggie Robbins explore the interior, the asteroid transports them to a far away planet of wonder and danger. Enjoyed it immensely! Good job on the characters. All 3 had the personalities needed to survive on the alien world of Cocytus. Great interaction between rock solid, ice-water-for-blood Low and spirited yet experienced Robbins. Loved the transformation in Brink. Added a lot to the tension of the story. Lots of really awesome stuff to be found on the planet, especially some green crystals that play a big, big part in the story. The exploration and deductive skills of the characters as they make one discovery after another was well done and believable. The Cocytans are great aliens. Millions of beings of pure thought, all connected and existing in a dimension just beyond our. Loved their observations of the human visitors and how their efforts, to many of them, are merely a sideshow. Yet others root for them and desire to help them, even though they are unable. The one complaint I have is that I would have liked to see more fear among Low, Ludger and Maggie of possibly being stranded on this alien world for the rest of their lives. While they are curious, smart and confident, even the best of us would get scared to our depths at one point or another in such a situation. Despite that, the book was a great sci-fi tale.

Rating: Summary: Better than other sci-fi books! Review: When I bought the book just for game cheats, I thought that the book would be boring, but it was the best sci-fi book I've ever read. The book starts out slow and boring, then gets more exciting. I got a little confused at the end, but got the idea. At the same time, I was playing the game, The Dig, by LucasArts Entertainment Company. The book only helped me a little with the game, though.()
Rating: Summary: A Great Book and Computer Game Review: When I bought the computer game The Dig, I was surprised that a novel came with it. I played the game first, and since I loved it, went ahead and read the book. It turned out that the novel was just as good as the game. Even though it wasn't in movie form, it was even greater to say that I both read the book and was a part of its outcome in the game! I could even choose if two of the main characters ended up together! It was great.
