Rating: Summary: Summer's Murder Review: A Review by KristinCici thought that this summer was going to be a blast, missing the year before made here even more excited to go. Cici and her family, even extended family all go to Crystal Lake every summer. They always have a good time at the lake, but this summer is different. There are some things that need to be figured out. Someone was murdered and Cici has taken the responsibility upon herself to figure what really happened. Cici never thought in a millions year that she would have to go uncover and find some uncovered things out. Some things that I liked about the book was that it was really interesting and exciting. It was also very misleading which a good thing is considering that it is a mystery story. I also think some of the things that Cici had to deal with as being a teen girl are some things that I can relate to. I think that it some people can really be hit by this because some of the stuff that is in it are all things that we hear on the news everyday and it really gets you to remember that this type of thing happens a lot, not just in stories. The language was also a good choice because you are able to understand all the words and nothing is too hard that you are completely lost because you don't know what one word means. I think this is a good book for everyone to read. It isn't too hard and it isn't too easy. It is also interesting for all age levels. Everyone can enjoy it. One some levels maybe some people can relate to it and the things that Cici is going through. I would recommend this book to everyone. I think that is a really well written book and that all readers will enjoy it. I think that people will like it because some things people have experienced before and can relate to it.

Rating: Summary: Fast efficient narrative.... Review: Cici and family returns to a lake and finds herself turning into a semi-sleuth. The narrative runs smoothly and makes for fast efficient reading. Once started, it is quite difficult to stop, thanks to the interest-enough storyline. The writing style is crisp and clear. However, this book is no where among the great books for teenagers. From a moral perspective, the relationships among the teenagers are far from ideal and certainly not exemplary. Furthermore, there is hardly much in this book that caters for character building.
Rating: Summary: Not So Sure I Want to Be an Adult Review: Cici thought her summer vacation was going to be special. . . playing on warm, sunny days, swimming in the lake, building bonfires on the shore, sharing ghost stories with her friends, and maybe even catching the eye of the boy she had secretly admired for years. These were all things Cici expected to encounter while visiting her family's country cabin, but her expectations were short-lived. She had no idea this would be a summer filled with mystery, scandal, and even murder. A young girl is dead, a young man convicted of the crime, and the entire town in an uproar over the outcome. She thought she knew these people. How could she have been so wrong? As she begins to uncover lies and intrigue, 15 year-old Cici leaves her childhood behind and takes on the responsibilities of a young adult. This story begins very slowly with detailed descriptions of the characters and setting. Early on, the reader learns of the mysterious death of a young girl and the scandal it caused for a small, vacationing community. Although filled with intriguing questions, the reader begins to unravel the truth very quickly. There is not a lot of room left for suspense, and the truth is discovered and explained in the last 2 pages of the book. This would be a great starter book for the student who has just become interested in murder mysteries or detective work. It progresses slowly enough for the reader to understand what is happening, yet carries enough momentum for them to stay interested and curious.
Rating: Summary: Awesome! Review: Cici who is now 14 hopes to be accepted into the older group of kids on the island. However when she arrives on the island she discovers that Zoe had been murdered the summer before in a cottage. She also learns that the person who is in prison for murdering Zoe is her family cooks son which also happens to be the guy she has a crush ons brother. Cici is sure they got the wrong guy and when she starts finding clues she wished she never had. This mystery might just be linked to her family more than she ever thought it would. This is a great book. It is a page turner because you want to know what happens next very badly. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a great mystery!
Rating: Summary: Twisted Summer Review: Cici,a fourteen year old girl visits Crystal Lake every year. This summer was a little different though, she learned about a murder that happened. Her friend's brother, Brody was accused of the crime. Cici wants to find the real killer, but does poking around cause the killer to suspect something? She is also faced with her Grandmother's death and her love for Jack.-- I thought this was a very good book and I would recommend it to all teenagers, especially if you like mystery.
Rating: Summary: I liked the book but it was not exactly my top favorite. Review: I like mystery but it didn't have as much excitement or suspense as I was hoping. Other than that, it was a good book. I recommend it to people who like books with a subtle mystery.
Rating: Summary: Matt's review Review: I liked this book because it was exciting. The reason I thought it was exciting was that it had a lot of suspense. What I mean is that it would go to an exciting part when she was trying to find out who murdered Ilona to a love part when she is on the beach with the guy she likes. Also I liked it because it was a mystery and mystery books are my favorite type of books. Mysteries are my favorite because they aren't like love books were you have to listen about people loving some boy or girl they go to school with. The most important part of this is that the main character, Cici, doesn't go to the beach for one year. While Cici was gone, one of the people she knew at the beach was murdered. Ilona was strangled with her own necklaces. In the book they said she wore a lot of necklaces. She was found dead in a cabin. The way she was strangled was she was sitting in front of the window and the person that strangled her was out side the window. I would recommend this book to people who like mystery and don't get angry about suspense. Also if you like stories about people getting murdered, you'll love this book. The murder doesn't want to stop with Ilona so it builds up the suspense until it you finaly discover the murderer.
Rating: Summary: Great Book! Review: I loved this book! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! The ending was soo creepy. I couldn't sleep for two days!
