Summary: This book is GREAT-but only TIME WILL TELL
Review: Some people who are reading this book and start ranking it on their lists of the "best". Well, it's a good book, no doubt about that. But only down the line will we ever see if this series can ever be compared to Shakespeare!!!! But otherwise the characters are terrifically detailed-I like Perrin the best-and the action is just like being there. If you ever want your reality to be different....READ THIS BOOK.

Summary: The majestic opener to a series that draws in the reader.
Review: Robert Jordan makes his books seem to come alive. In this one you feel a kind of compassion towards the characters that only builds throughout the series. This is by far one of the best fantasy novels that I have ever read.

Summary: Really good!
Review: Some people think slow love songs are boring. The same thing over and over again.I don't think so. The same theme can be used many times as long as it's well done. And although this book contains a dark lord it's still good because its well written. I don't understand this thing about Jordan babbeling. I thought it was the other way around. I think tolkien's(he's great)got babbling nature descriptions but jordan does not have babble of any sort. Maybe the last books in the series do but not the first five I've read.So I think the book's just plain great and hope to find more writers as good as jordan.

Summary: I love this book, I'm hooked on WoT.
Review: How could you not like this book?! It is thoughtful, the characters are life-like, the land and history are so detailed they're believable and all the detalis are worked out perfectly. This series is like a web, with the characters and events interwoven and recurring. Mr Jordan provides an exciting storyline, with room for thought and discussion. Although it seems simple to understand at first, at a secon read, it has many subtle parts that require deep thought. (I am a member of a WoT discussion group still debating events of these books) This book will please all people with a higher intelligence (to work out the puzzles that Mr Jordan writes, with clues scattered through the series) and ability to appreciate a fine literary work. I realise that people's opinions are not easily changed, but if you've never read this book, I recommend it. Have patience with the beginning, and you will be rewarded thousandfold. I read this book in 3 days and couldn't wait to get the 2nd one

Summary: Totally Fantastic!
Review: This book was Fantastic. This book drawn me int othe book. Rand is cool, and Dark One is pre-mysterious for me. That's how this book makes me interesting. There are many sites about this book and the other series of this book. Go to Yahoo, and just type wheel of times. And that's it!

Summary: I can't be in any one mood of my own. I am totally drawn in.
Review: His writing is so in depth that you are in a bad mood if the characters are. Like wise if they are in a good mood so are you. You don't walk one hundred miles in a single paragraph. He has so much to say. I am a fan of Token for his were the first I ever read but Jordon's books are like a hurricane that could take the 5 point Tornado Token left behind and sweap it away. If anyone can he could. I should know, I have read them all. DeathGate, Shannara, Assassins Apprentice, and many other greats. All wonderful Novels. They all hit close to Tokens belt but Jordon may just end up wearing it depending on how he ends the series.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: In depth fairly exciting storyline
Review: OK. So some people just don't like fantasy authors or are just incapable of recognizing an extremely good storyteller when they see it. This book set me on the edge of my chair. Robert Jordan is one of those rare authors who can deliver a detailed story, someone who I've been looking for, well, over 30 plus years, ever since I really started reading seriously when I was about ten years old. THIS series is what the art is all about. Can you get detailed, engrossing, - etc.? I've read everything from Anthony to Zahn, but simply, for me, Jordan is the best I've read so far. Now all we need to hope is that his creativity DOESN'T run out before 15 books !
