Anyone who gets thru the beginning of this book will thank themselves later, it is indepth, interesting, and definitely not boring. SO over all it Is a Great book and The series just keeps gettting better.

Summary: A new book with new thoughts and philosophies.
Review: This book, I thought was pretty good. In the book, we find three friends, Rand Al Thor, Matrim Cauthon, Perrin Aybarra, meet up with the fabled witches, Aes Sedai and all hell breaks loose! This book is filled with prophecies, female mages, and beasts of pure evil. Rand Al'Thor is the center of prophecy which states he alone must fight the Dark One. Though it is slow in the begnning, the ending leaves you automatically hooked into this series

Summary: An amazing beginning to a spellbinding series!
Review: _The Eye of the World_ begins a series that, without a doubt, is the best I have ever read. Nothing's captivated me this much since I was 4, reading _Winnie the Pooh_.. not that that even compares to Mr. Jordan's work. I thought the book was amazing, until I got to the third book.. Sure, all the books are incredibly long, but they're worth it

Summary: THE BEST BOOK OF THIS MILLENIUM!!!!!!!!
Review: This is only the beginning of a wonderfully written series. It's true that he does take some time getting up to a speed that I know we all read at, once he get's on a roll it's hard to stop him. My one and only complaint is that I wish that he would crank them out a little faster. Long May The Dragon Reign!!

Summary: Wonderful escape from the drudgery of the real world . . .
Review: Great fun! I highly recommend this series. A friend sent me the first six books last year. I am not a fast reader, but I read them all in five days. The Eye of the World caught me from page one, and I couldn't put it down. Good thing there was a Jack in the Box nearby . . . One of the few faults I found was the lack of responsibility in sexual relationships. I think that was handled a bit carelessly. On the other hand, my friend and I had fun discussing the parallels between this plot line and Revelations and other creation ideas. Then I had to start from book one and read them all over again . .

Summary: May the Dragon ride again on the winds of time.
Review: I have read fantasy series by many authors, and Robert Jordan is the best. This is the first book in a series that has so far reached 7 books. The story is gripping, you will stay up all night reading this one. You know the characters well by the end of the first book. There are many loose strings dropped throughout, and not a word is placed accidentally. Many are tied up, but for some you must wait for the next book. An amazing story with a climactic ending thet will kep you on the edge of your seat

Summary: An Excellent book.
Review: Robert Jordon seems to be a born storyteller. He weaves many stories at the same time, almost like a soap opera. If you are going to read this book, be sure to do it on a weekend when you have time, because you won't want put this book down

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The most indepth, gripping, and perfect fantasy novel ever!
Review: Robert Jordan is J.R.R. Tolkien in disguise. The characters in Eye of the World will grab you and hold you until you finish, and then they will not let go. The plot is so closely detailed to actual human experiences that you will walk away thinking about it for hours. You begin to hope and dream and fantisize along with the characters in the novel, and you begin to feel what they feel, all from the detail that Robert Jordan puts into it. The adventure is here, and alive, and it is ongoing. The plot is so involved, that you often find yourself returning to earlier chapters in an attempt to discover what will happen next. Robert Jordan truly is the next great fantasy epic writer of our century, and maybe even into the next!
