Summary: A great begining of a great new series
Review: I think that Robert Jordan is a very talented writer and I am always wating for his next book to come out. And this book is a good one to get started on if you are even slitely interested in fantasy reading.

Summary: BY far Robert Jordan is the best New fantasy Auther
Review: This book startd out a little slow, with a few new ideas that were hard to grasp, but after the first 200 pages were clear I could not put it down. Robert Jordan has a unique style of writng that is similer to J.R.R. Tolkien, but better. This book is just the first of many amazing books in this series, I would recomend them all.

Summary: A great book.
Review: Absorbing from the first. It keeps the action going at a fast pace. More importantly, the plot is always concrete. There is never a moment in the book where the story line suffers from a lack of imagination.

Summary: Magical
Review: The wheel of time is an amazing piece of literature. This book starts out an amazing saga so far up to it's eigth book. I write this review several months after i've finished it, yet it still stands vivid and colorful in my mind. Although this is not the best book in the series, it is definately the most magical. I don't mean magical as in MAGICK. I mean magical as in wondrous and enchanting. The story is beautifily written, and the characters are so deeply developed they feel like old friends. (or enemies) In this book our main character is so innocent and ignorant. He knows nothing about the world and an Aes Sedai seems so powerful and omnipotent. We see later in the series that this changes. This is why i say this isn't the best book in the series but certainly the most magical. By the way if you wish to know what an Aes Sedai is than you must READ READ READ READ READ this book. It will start you on an amazing journey you will remeber forever.

Summary: Excellent. Starts slow, but quickly gains steam.
Review: This is the first book of the series for which Jordan has been compared to the likes of Tolkien. Excellent book, a must for all fiction readers and role-players.

Summary: Very Good A Must (To read & reread)
Review: Robert Jordan's first book is very good. Although it seems to start slow stick with it, it will get really good. Pay attention to the details before it gets going. Once your read this you must read the other ones. Have Fun

Summary: To be brief... THIS BOOK ROCKS!!!!
Review: I heard from a friend about the Wheel of Time, and when he said it was one of the best series he read, and I kinda doubted him. Until I started it myself. The way Jordan uses events to his advantage makes this book at it's best. I may only just finished the first one, but I am ready to pick up the next one already.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great, Perfect fantasy
Review: The ideal fantasy with magic, love, wars, evil, and humor. Youve got to read it and the rest of the series.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Rip-off of Tolkien
Review: This book just plain sucks. It is so obviously a rip-off of Tolkien it's not funny. I guess you could find it reasonable if you enjoy endless mounds of descriptive garbage.
